"Ordered the wrong boots. Being my fault I returned the boots to be exchanged for the right boots. I expected and was prepared to pay a restock fee and additional shipping. Not only was their no additional charges but I received the right boots in just 5 days. Outstanding customer service. Highly recommended"

I think that “Godcooks” is full of it. I think it’s Bret entering a positive review to counter our miserable experiences. Isn’t it peculiar that “Godcooks” experience sounds like a dream come true, and just by coincidence, has 5 checks and outstanding service? Does Bret have access to more than one computer? I would think several considering the business he’s in. This company as well as the others mentioned below, is/ are a scam. Stay far away from them. My opinion of course.
Quite simply, I ordered 2 pair of boots from Stephanie. 1 pair was wrong completely! They were supposed to be a womans pair of Harley boots but we were sent Chippewa mens work boots. I was instructed to send them back. I told them I would pay for the shipping back if they would apply that much to expedite the correct pair. 2 weeks later? No boots. I called and was given the run around by Bret whom was more concernd with getting a "Tude" because I mistakenly called him Craig. Needless to say I am quite irritated by now and was given the choice to cancel the order. Which I did and requested a refund of my shipping cost of $15.00. There is no reason on this earth that it should cost me one thin dime for their incompetence. Be aware that they seem to be operating under many names. Boot Biz was whom I placed the order. I was credited back the boots to my card.
This has been my terrible experience with this outfit that I am sharing with you. It is my choice not to ever do business with these people again.
I will do my best to remember that Boot Biz.com, Jgear Inc, and Online Boot store.com are all one in the same and that they may have other names as well. I guess I'll just use the telephone number.. 1-***-***-**** as a reference to that fact, and I won't forget to share my experience with as many people as I can. Thanks for listening.

Tried to get my $15.00 back but keep getting run around. I had asked for the owners name and number to file a complaint but since I asked that they ignore my emails and phone calls. I really don't think I will get the money back from such a bunch of thieves. I will be calling the BBB and maybe the DA in their area. My advise is not to do business with them. Very shady group of trash. "
"Ordered boots from this store. Temporary hold on payment. Cancelled order, took funds out of my paypal account. Called back, they state that I am not in the system, and they will send it to research to findout what is going on? Come on, this is the modern age. They can't look it up on a computer, and find out what's going on? I don't even know if they sent the order, and if they have not, when are they going to put the funds back in my account. I should have never dealt with this company. They don't even have a way to look up orders online, which every website should have. I will be lucky to get my money back. Stay away from them.
It's 01-10-2008, I am still trying to get my money back, they (onlinebootstore) keeps making promises about looking it up, refunding my money, or even sending an email saying they refunded it. This is very bad customer service, I am about to give up on the money. Stay away from them. The better business bureau has already been contacted, and maybe I might even contact the Fair Trade Commission."
"i ordered a pair of boots from them after 11 working days i called them and was told that that they were shipped on the 30th of oct and should receive them on the 6th or 7th of nov. well i called them again on the 10th and was told they were sorry that i was given the wrong information the week before that they were back ordwered until dec 13th. then she proceded to try to tell me that a call was placed to me on the 27th of oct to inform me of the back order i was home that day there was no call or message on the machine at that piont i told her to cancel the order that i waited 3 weeks already and that was to long. i will never place an order at any of their stores again."
"I made a purchase from this outfit 3 weeks ago, and I too had my order cancelled. I called back to find out what the deal was, and was told my mail/ship to addresses did not match for my credit card. Placed a new order, and just checked to find where my order was, and was told that they could not find where the shipper had received the shipment, and that they did not know what was going on with the order. When asked to cancel my order and refund my credit card, the "customer-no-service" rep got very rude with me and said she could not do that, because "they" did not know if the item had been shipped out or not. I will NEVER buy from this onlinestore EVER again. I would also not recommend them to anyone I know!!"
"I ordered a pair of safety toe shoes for work with my corporate card. Since the price was enough under my allowable expense limit, I tacked on 2 day delivery because my current shoes are getting pretty bad. Onlinebootstore.com decided to cancel my order because my ship to address was different from my billing address. I guess I can accept that, but they never bothered to notify me that they cancelled my order. I waited for my shoes and they just never showed up. I called them, the phone rang and rang... so I decided to give it another day. After the third business day I called them, they told me why they cancelled the order. When I asked why they didn't call me... the customer service rep. said a call should have been made. There was no answer on the answering maching, my caller I.D. has no record of them ever calling, and I did not get an e-mail from them. Good prices, very very poor customer service.
