"DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, order from this company! I only ordered boots from this website for the free UPS ground shipping in the US. Got charged $43..95 for 2nd day air to Alaska or Hawaii. I shipped to Nebraska as clearly evident by the zip code! Was told the order already went out and I would have the boots in 3-5 business days in NE. I called customer 5 minutes after I ordered and recieved the invoice via email. Additionally, I emailed both companies as well so there was plenty of time to adjust the shipping. They would not refund the shipping charge. This is a scam company. STAY AWAY! I am so upset that I went against my protocol and ordered from a company I was not familiar with. Oh, how I wish I had done my research first and read the reviews so that I would not have ordered!! It's true....you really don't get anything for nothin'!! Now I'll just have to wait and see if the boots even arrive and can be kept..."

Two months later, no boots, and no refund. The only words these people understand to get anything done is chargeback and Better Business Bureau Complaint. Ordered a pair of boots as a gift in October and due to sizing issues returned for exchange, and when 2nd pair arrived noticed boots seemed to be missing insoles, customer service promised inserts to arrive before Christmas, AFTER I called twice about their status. Did my own investigating in a retail store to inquire about the problem I encountered with these boots, and found answers myself (you would think a store that specializes in these boots would have better knowledge?! Apparently not.) I had to call them back to tell them what I found out, and there was no apology and any practice of good customer care. Requested that they refund my shipping fees as an exercise customer courtesy only to be met with hostility. DO NOT SHOP HERE if you have any doubts about keeping your purchase! "

Well, we called again to check where they were and now they are telling us the order was cancelled due to faulty leather. "I ordered a pair of Ariat boots from Bootbiz.com, and it took awhile but they finally came. I ended up sending them back, because I needed a smaller size. The second pair finally came, and when I put them on in my living room two of the speed lacer hooks broke! I couldn't believe it. I finally just sent them back with the correct paperwork. I also emailed them to say what happened, and that I wanted a refund. They eventually emailed me back to tell me to send the shipping receipt,and they would refund me $10.00 of the fee back AS WELL. That means the boot price and the part of the shipping, correct? Well that's what I thought. It turns out they said they can't refund the money they can only do an exchange. I didn't really want that, because I bought another pair of boots in the mean time, and wanted to offset the cost with the refunded boot money. I was told only defected boots can be exchanged not refunded. It was in the return police on the website. I don't know if I'm losing it, but that's not what I read. I didn't want to fight with them anymore, so I caved in and exchanged for a different pair. I just thought that I would never see my money again, so I better get something back. Stacey at Bootbiz also said I wore the boots! Yes I did try them on, but only in my living room. I couldn't believe it. After I hung up with them I called Ariat's corporate office to tell them what happened. They told me they were going to talk to Bootbiz about it. They put you on hold for a long time, so I hope they can get through. Bottom line is, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!"

"Awful! I purchased the Bate's Lites 50501's which I was going to wear to Pre OCS(USMC) Weekend for the O-Course and did not receive anything - so I had to wear running shoes (rope climb sucked!). Then I finally receive a box of bates, but the wrong ones! They sent me jungle boots! I called them immediately and asked them to send me the correct boots. It has now almost been a month since my original order and I still have not received the boots!! I just talked to customer service and they said that the new boots are still being processed! WTF?!?! I have never had an experience from an online merchant like this. Now I'm trying to get a refund, but we will see how successful that attempt is. DON'T BUY FROM HERE!!!"
