"I have to send back the 1st pair of boots I ordered because they were too big (sent back at my expense) and just received the replacement boots, SAME EXACT SIZE I SENT BACK. I included a letter with my boot return, and actually stuck it inside a boot, hoping for no problems. This company is horrible to deal with, when you call customer service, it is almost a joke to them. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Did I mention that that I had to contact the BBB to get them to even send out the second pair? What now???? Keep the boots, even though they do not fit? This is what I got from one of the owners:

"Absolutely the WORST company I have ever dealt with online! I placed an order on 12-10-11 for 2 Christmas gifts, paid $24.95 for guaranteed arrival by 12-23-11. As of 3:30 pm on 12-20 they can't provide me with a tracking number or even confirm whether or not my order has shipped, definately not what I wanted to hear after calling numerous times and holding for up to 25 minutes before ever speaking to anyone! When I asked for a supervisor or manager I was told that they didn't have either onsite because the managers were ALL at the warehouse trying to gather tracking information. I asked to be transferred to someone in the warehouse and I was told that there are no phones in the warehouse and that my only option was to wait for a manager to return my call (been waiting for that call for nearly 3 days now by the way)! I honestly don't understand why it is so difficult for this company to fulfill orders or provide basic information for items that only have to pulled off of a shelf, placed in a shipping carton, and processed through UPS! Trust me, it would be WELL worth the additional cost to order direct from the manufacturer or purchase from a local store! I strongly suggest that the onlinebootstore remove themselves from the web or make a serious investment in additional man power and an operating system that doesn't require a chisel and stone for information sharing between their departments! "

"I ordered boots from them for a Christmas present. I recieved a call saying they were out of stock. They said they would be getting more and would reorder them. I never heard back from them. I called weeks later and asked about my order and at that time they couldn't find it. I called 2 days later and they said they would be refunding my money. I never recieved my refund. When I called them to let them know I did not recieve my refund they said it had already been credited back and would be sending me something for my records. my card statement has where they did tak their payment but no record of a refund.."

"Ordered boots on 12/3, said they would arrive in 6-12 business days. On 12/19 called to see where boots were and they said the boots had been out of stock but had come back into stock last week and would ship this week but would arrive after Christmas. They refused to pay for any expedited shipping, they did offer to cancel my order and pay for the express shipping myself but still no guarantee they would arrive before Christmas. Called back a second time, got more of the same type of run around and refused to let me talk to the manager, he was "busy". Third call back and they told me the boots were no longer in stock and hadn't been for a month, even though two other people told me they were and it shows in stock on their website. Wow, what a horrible company, I even tried calling one of the co-owners and got no answer. DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They will cause you nothing but headaches and disappointment. Learned my lesson to order from such a place without checking store reviews."

"Ordered a pair of justin boots, was told they would be here in 6 days, I have yet to recieve them, called customer service and stayed on hold for over 30 mins, till I hung up. Called again, same thing. I emailed them no answer.....I will never order from this place again."

"I ordered a pair of Blackbriar Bark Oxford's from Caterpillar - they're sturdy enough for me to wear to work (I work in a warehouse distribution center) and nice enough to wear out with jeans. I love the Caterpillar brand, it's very well made and I found a great price here, so I couldn't pass up on ordering them.

They shipped the next day and they got to me about a week or so later. Delivery took a day longer than I hoped, but that's because it's the holiday shipping season.

Very good site, not a problem with my order.

"I placed an order for tombstone boots before i read reviews. After 13 days and 9 business days still no shipment. And all i got was - they are fixing it up in the fullfillment center. They will not answer e mails, so save yourself the trouble. I tried to cancel the order, but it was not possible. Then i was told it will take 12 days after shipping. Had to order them somewhere else, to get them in time for xmas. I will send them back, if they ever get here."

"Going on thirteen (13) days now, eight (8) business days and still haven't received tracking information for my order. Tried to cancel this morning and it needs to be sent on to management before it can be canceled? This company is a joke - might have good prices to lure you in but don't waste your time and I say that sincerely. Will more than likely take a charge-back from paypal to get my money back. Ugh, so aggravating around this time of year (Christmas time)to get the run around."

"Well so far my experience has been positive with the onlinebootstore. I ordered a pair of steel toed boots that I needed for my line of work, and I received them in about a week in great condition. When I contacted customer service prior to ordering, the reps were very courtesy and answered my questions thoroughly because I needed to ensure that the boots were right for what I need them for. They were very knowledgeable and what I like most is that the weren't pushy or impatient. So me personally, I have nothing but good things to say and would feel comfortable recommending them to my coworkers and family members."

"I have made an extensive effort in the past days to get information as to the disposition of my order only to be left on hold f countless minutes, eventually disconnected and subsequently treated curtly by your representatives, provided no information and that s a very bid no about the disposition of the order. i was confounded to be told they couldn't give me any information other than what i already have which is the original sales transaction. They withdrew the money from pay-pal immediately unlike most reputable sellers who pull the payment at the time of shipping. I requested a return call from Manager "Ed" with no response and have sent numerous emails all with no response, i have started the complaint process with pay-pal and made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau."

"Stay away from this company!!!! They processed.my payment immediately after I.made an order and my tracking number never materialized. The first call I made, I was told the order was processed and waitingto be picked up at the warehouse. Two days later, I got the same story and would have a tracking number that day. After 4 days and no number, I called to.cancel and was told the order was shippe
d. Two weeks after I mads the order, I received an email stating the boots were out of stock and they were cancelling my order. To sum it all up, every person I spoke with lied to me and I suggest everyone stay far away from this bogus company. Country outfitters is the company I would use.

"Do not buy from this company!!! Customer service.... I don't think this company has ever heard of it. First of all, shipping for my items took more than the listed 6-10 business days. They charged my credit card within hours of me placing my order. When I finally did receive my order, I was missing a pair of boots. There was no notice of a delayed shipment or backorder, they just chose not to ship the boots. I immediately contacted the company after confirming there was not another shipment on the way and NEVER heard back from them. I wound up sending 5-6 emails to their customer service email address as well as their sales email address. NO response from either of them. I threatened I would do a charge back and dispute the order since they billed for the entire order and only shipped part of the order. I told them I would file a complaint with the BBB and the Wisconsin attorney general's office, still no response.

I contacted them finally by phone and received a run around that they needed to check to see what happened. The rep on the phone states there was an 'error in the warehouse' and basically they forgot to send the other pair of boots. I told the rep my plans on filing complaints and she stated a manager would be in touch in 24-48 business hours to confirm shipment of the pair of boots. That time came and passed.... no contact, just like the emails. I finally did a dispute with my credit card company and obviously sticking to my promise of filing complaints and notifying prospective consumers of this company. They will not call you back, they will not respond to any emails they do not care. They are quick to get your money though.
