They offer free shipping at 7-10 days, and majority of the time it takes 5-7 days for an order to process then ship. "I ordered from Optics Planet about a month ago, the original shipping was quick and seemed to be going great! Until Fedex lost my package, I called Fedex and they started an investigation, and then I called OP and they told me they would send me another package! Seemed to be going well until Optics Planet took an additional week to ship my package out, placed restrictions on my package to where it could ONLY go to my home with a signature at a time when I wasn't home, and when I called customer service (20 min average wait time) a rude female employee answered and told me I had to pay $15 extra to fix their restrictions they put on my account! Then they send me an email saying it's going 45 mins away from my home, I call Fedex to fix it, (Who found themselves at fault for losing the first one) and they tell me to call OP. I call OP (20 mins later another rude female) they tell me they can't do anything and to call Fedex to fix it. I call Fedex again and by the grace of God they overrode the restriction to get it close to me. All I received from OP was a $100 off an order of $160 worth of wine (I don't drink), and a $15 coupon off of $150 or more. I'm now still waiting on 2 items that weren't in stock. I used to love OP but this really left a bad taste in my mouth with their customer service this time!"

"I ordered my product on Feb 6, 2019. The next day, I received notice that the product was shipped, which made me super happy; due to arrive in 8 to 10 days business days. On the 8th, another email said it was sent to the shipper. Then...crickets.
I never heard another word until the 18th...already 12 days after the purchase and 11 days after my first shipping notice. On the 18th, emails began coming in about shipping saying it's on its way to the NEXT destination...never saying what that NEXT destination is, which is completely different from the other shipping tracking I've received. Due the 22nd...16 days after purchase and 15 days after 1st notice. If I could rate it ZERO stars I definitely would."

"The order went very smoothly. The Website is very easy to use. I was pleased with the experience online. But then things went south. The cost of shipping seemed reasonable but that was the end of my satisfaction.

The shipping was assigned to the USPS. Well according to their website it took 4 days for the item to leave Aurora and arrive at Fox Valley station. I'm pretty sure that they are in the same town. Then it got worse. In total it took 29 days for the tiny package to arrive. The plastic shipping bag had been ripped apart and then taped back together. I guess I'm lucky it got here at all what with the damage to the package. But I think Optics Planet should allow customer to choose a better more responsive shipping service. UPS or FedEx would have had this item here in 7 days max."

"The pricing was great and below quite a few websites, now the context of the title is what gives the rating. I was able to see the full spectrum of Optics Planet's customer service. USPS had missed service on my order and temporarily "lost" track of the item. Optics Planet customer service had helped with the tracking information (although the hold/wait time for customer service was lengthy) and took responsibility of the lost package while giving no hassle to reset the order and attempt to resend a new product to me. The services are amazing and gave me nothing but help, definitely have a new customer and I will continue to shop through Optics Planet and will promote their business! "
