I'm a repeat customer with Optics Planet. Normally they do a decent-to-good job of getting products out in a reasonable time period. I've had a couple orders in the past that took an inordinate amount of time to ship (over a week); but for the most part, they ship within a few days if they report that the item is in stock. Prices are better than average as long as you're using the always available 5% coupon (and even better with the occasional 10% coupons).

Something pretty alarming happened with one of my more recent orders: Despite paying for a NEW item (BCM Mod 0 Buttstock), I was shipped a USED item that had clearly been opened and re-sealed using standard clear shipping tape. My guess is that it was a customer return item that they shipped back out instead of sending it back to Bravo Company. This was disappointing because I did not pay for a used or open box item.

I have since returned the used item for an exchange, and hopefully the "new" one (arriving in a few days) will actually be new. The return/exchange process was automated and streamlined, though turnaround time was over a week before the replacement was shipped. I'll update this review, lower the star count, return for a complete refund, and of course never shop here again if I receive another used item.

Hopefully this is a one-of situation, and I won't get another USED product from Optics Planet sold as NEW. That said, another user in a private high-end AR group I am a member of described a similar event with an expensive piece of glass. Time will tell, I suppose."

The SB Mini Brace and all of SB braces are made excellent. My first impression was this doesn't have a collar or screw to
tighten down. Slipped it over my pistol buffer tube and it holds in place perfect. With a bit of force you can adjust to make it even. It is lightweight and a reasonable price.
I had a battlecomp buffer tube that came out before the one that accepts the gear works Tail piece mod 1.
I wanted to shop off the buffer tube and this was perfect and is for any build.
OpticsPlanet carries a large selection of pistol braces and have purchased at least 4 different braces depending on the build.
