Optics Planet honors veterans

"I've been an OP/Dvor.com customer for years, but I wasn't aware until recently they have a veteran discount program, you just have to call in to identify yourself as a military veteran to receive the discount. I recently purchased a Faxon 4.5 inch 9mm AR pistol barrel and their representative was very polite and professional on the phone as she placed my order and assisted me in receiving my discount on this purchase. I've always been aware of OP great products and customer service, but I'm really happy to know they honor veterans such as myself. Just one more reason to keep coming back and also I highly recommend their member's only buyers club, Dvor.com. BTW, the Faxon 9mm barrel is AWESOME....!"

"01-07-20, product purchased. 01-13-20, defective product received. 01-22-20, Optics Planet (OP) received return. Optics Planet's policy does not provide refund. Exchange is acceptable. 01-31-20, OP shipped new product. 02-14-20, OP solicited rating, however, product has not been received. Still waiting."

Misleading item photo and terrible customer service

"Ordered a T-style magazine plug based on the photo and description. What arrived was a 'universal' stick-style plug that slides around in the magazine tube when not loaded. Contacted customer service who offered a generic and unhelpful response."

Great product, not so good service

"Well I placed an order and got free 2 day shipping as advertised but after placing the order the confirmation email showed a $40 charge for shipping. They refunded the shipping cost as soon as I emailed them in regards to it, so no problem there, however the 2 day shipping took 5 days to arrive to my house! I can only imagine paying $40 for 2 day shipping and not getting my items for almost a week. It was my first order and may be my last, not sure. Maybe it was just a fluke."

"I had heard a few people say nice things about this company boy were they so far off base. They are rude to customer speaking with disrespect and even when you request a supervisor they are rude the way they speak. They are condescending demeaning and and insulting.
