"My product arrived with 50% of the warranty lapsed. I returned it after speaking with a CSR and explaining the issue. I waited for the return/replacement process and received replacement product the exactly the same issue.
I spoke with another CSR and was given the following options; a) return it again and hope for a different outcome (with little confidence of a different outcome) b) return for a less than full refund c) keep it as is. Given the level of stress involved, I opted to keep the product. I was told I would receive a $25.00 gift certificate toward a future purchase for my inconvenience. The certificate has yet to arrive.
The product was a good buy at full warranty. It was not such a good buy at 50% warranty.
If a company offers compensation to dissatisfied customers, it does little to boost said customers’ confidence in the company if they fail to follow through with the offered compensation."
