"I ordered a rear sight for my AR15 from Opticsplanet and they didn't ship it for like 3 days, the shipping said it would arrive on a certain day
then after their "processing time" the date it would arrive was pushed back a couple days. IDK it's kinda dishonest, but I was super happy with the product when I got it. they also ship it in a nice box and use professional shipping services.

I asked the customer service and they argued with me that "people get used to it" or something, but I think their order page should account for processing time, and push back their "get it by" time.

I wish they had a place to type in the brand and model of gun to assist in choosing the correct accessories. I'm sure there are many customers who are very experienced in shooting, so don't need it, but some of us who are not as experienced would find it very helpful. "Waited forever to get my tax stamp for suppressor. Did a deluxe build including the PRI Gas Buster charging handle. Finally got to the range and after less than 10 shots the AR had FTF with bolt jam. Inspection found that pin had come out of the top of the charging handle where latch is attached and bent backwards. This caused damage to the upper (deep gouge -cosmetic - but it was brand new) and a wasted trip to the range hour and a half away - the WORST - did not get to play with my new toy. Took pictures - got OP CSC online and asked them to make this right by sending me out another charging handle ASAP to replace the defective one so I could take this to scheduled out of state range the next Friday. Was told that I would have to buy a new one - no expedited shipping offered - and that they would credit the defective one once the RMA was received - period. I ended up drilling out the CH over the w/end and installing a roll pin so I could have a gun to use at the range 7 hours away this Friday. I am not much of a whiner but this is very poor customer service in any situation. "

I first tried canceling the order six times over two days. It shipped anyway. Then it shipped and never got to the post office. I complained and never got a response. After 15 days no one knows where my package is. It’s still on its way to the post office. The post office has no record of it. "

"I have found that when shopping with Optics Planet it is important to make sure that the item I want is in stock. On each item they list amount available or how many days before it is shipped. I have seen the listing saying it will be 10-20 days before item will ship. That means that the item is not in stock and is expected to be shipped within the time posted. So, you need to make sure before you commit that you are willing to wait if the item does not say IN STOCK. I assure you Optics Planet will ship ASAP if in stock and they are a great online place to purchase from. I would have given them 5 stars but gave them 4 stars because some people are just not bright enough to really read and are under the assumption that if you advertise for sale that means in stock. I know it does not. So, Optics Planet if you want 5 stars from everyone make sure you stock what you sell or list for sale on BACKORDER with an ETA. The last item I purchased from Optics Planet was perfect and I received ASAP."
