"Ordered a notebook pc for $570, then after receiving email confirmation realized ordered the wrong item. I IMMEDIATELY call overstock.com (within 5 minutes) and the customer service operator TELLS ME THAT SHE IS ABLE TO CANCEL THE ORDER, even though normally they can't do that. Then a week later I get a package delivery which I refuse.
I have had a series of email corresondances with overstock.com, which culminated with an email from their customer service CLEARLY stating they are sorry for the misunderstanding and that they are giving me a full refund.
A month later, i still don't have a full refund, so I call, and they tell me that the person who emailed me notification that I'll be receiving a full refund must have not understood the overstock.com policy -- AND THEY REFUSE TO HONOR THE PROMISE OF A FULL REFUND, AS WAS CLEARLY STATED IN THEIR OWN CORRESPONDANCE!!!
AS OF TODAY, THEY HAVE CREDITED ME ONLY $399 OF THE $570 PURCHASE PRICE/REFUND THEY **PROMISED**. Even if you subtract the $85 (15%)restocking fee, I should have been credited $485, not $399 -- these people are THEIVES!!
THIS COMPANY IS UN-FREAKIN BELIEVABLE!! Buyer beware!"
"Ordered Refurbished Panasonic KXTG2690 cordless phone. Product arrived 8 days after ordering via free UPS ground shipping. Item was well packaged (box in box) with plenty of styrofoam cushion. Item was refurb and did not come in orginal retail box; instead it was in a standard Panasonic refurb box, thus I was unable to use UPC for the $20 rebate. Item was in great condition and worked fine. Price including free shipping was $141, much lower than new retail version. I would definetely order from Overstock.com again."

"When I entered an order for seven Logitech Optical mice, they were all supposedly in stock and ready to ship. I placed my order and got a tracking number within a few days. When I received the package, there was only one mouse in the package and they charged me for all seven mice. I called them to see what happened and they blamed their third party fulfillment center JustDeals.com. After about 3 weeks they sent me the remaining six mice and I received them over a month after I originally ordered them."
