The tape had come loose and you could see the contents without trying to open the box. Ozbo customer service was very responsive and told me they would replace my order. "I ordered something from their site and after two days the order status remained at something like sent to warehouse. I called and cancelled and ordered from amazon. Well, I receive both items, from Amazon and Ozbo, and mad at this point. I called customer service and she said to send it back (at my expense) and that I'll get a refund. I then told her it was their system that was jacked up and that they should be liable for return shipping, and I hung up. I call them once again and explain what happens and issue an ultimatum: pay return shipping or receive a charge-back claim. So I called my creditcard company and explained the situation to them and they agreed with me, but wanted to be the mediator and put me on a conference call with ozbo. During this conference call, the ozbo rep said the reason the status wasn't updated was MY fault, cause my cookies weren't cleared, blah blah blah. Mind you, I am an IT guy and have done more IT work than most of their customer reps combined. I explained to her not only that her logic is false, but that if I go to the status, using my coworker's computer, it'd still say SENT TO WAREHOUSE and that this computer has never been to ozbo.com. After I proved her wrong they still did not want to pay return shipping. I hung up and my credit card company asked me what to do with this, move it to their next level, drop it, or pay return shipping. I said next level and said I'd provide proof. Took pictures and screen captures of all the emails I received, with their dates, a picture of their broken system, with the timestamp of my work phone (which get's it from servers from another state, so there's no way I can fake that time and date stamp), my cell phone call logs of me contacting them to cancel. I felt like Walter White, from Breaking Bad, cause I WON! Ozbo was wrong and did not want to own up. The $5 is not really a problem, it's the principle.
Oh yea, 3 days after I was refunded my money, by my CC company, I receive an email that my order has been Shipped. So I look at the order status and it was finally changed to shipped and delivered on the same day. Stay away from these trailer trash merchants with no customer service skills and condescending attitude."
