Here's the story, I'm searching for a low cost 802.11b pcmcia card, I look on pricewatch.com and notice a great price (pcmcia 802.11b networking card w/ shipping $17.75), I then check the resellerrating.com listing of the company and see that it is above 9. I then proceed to place the order on June 19th at 3:45 PM CDT.

I am greeted with an automated email from ****@**** that includes the following information.

On the 24th of June I still have received no indication of shipment so I send a request in to ****@**** for a tracking number (I wanted a UPS tracking number as it said UPS shipping in the pricewatch ad).

So the website still says the item is in stock, but it is backordered and will be shipped out the 25th, this I can live with, sometimes these things happen I understand that.

They used USPS and NOT UPS and gave me a USPS tracking number that did me no good whatsoever.

On June 30th I emailed them and requested a status check as the USPS tracking site said it was still waiting to be placed in delivery.

I received the following email

Well that's news to me as the item isn't in my mailbox, doorstep, or anywhere to be found. I then emailed them one final time requesting that they please give me some kind of update and gave them a deadline of July 2nd 5:00 PM CDT. They gave me no response and I contacted my credit card company that went ahead and credited my account as it was under $25.00 which I guess is the minimum for disputes.

Anyways they are not a reputable company by any means, I'm off to contact the California Attorney Generals office, BBB of Oakland, and the credit card processor for the company to inform them of the business practices of this company.

They have what I am looking for, cheap, quality, and something that works. There is no vendor that has everything you need, some shop at only one places which is not very productive. but if it does you lots of good, keep shopping until you are out of funds hehe, they deserve your business for being good honest merchant while other shady merchant sell junk and that's something we all like to avoid like (compgeeks.com), computer-show.com, package2you. just to name a few...anyway I would spend all my money here before I go anywhere else. Why spend less on used, refurbish when you can buy new for less that works great out of the box.
