"The prices were good. I'm a little confused with the PreTest charge... I'm not sure it that's mandatory or not. It seemed a bit high for the order, over $60 to test a motherboard and RAM. That should be a rather simple test. Is there any way to opt out of the pretest on my next orders? The order seemed to spend a lot of time in the various departments, making the order take a quite a long time before it's actually shipped to me. Additionally, I don't think the order form was secure enough. Usually on a secure site, I have a lock icon at the bottom of the browser... that was not there when I was putting in my credit card information, and that made me very uncomfortable. If any of these items could be improved, I would certainly recommend PCRapids to my friends. "

"Finding the product was easy. I came through pricewatch.com, which is were I find the best deals. I liked the whole order process, but the upsell links were a bit overbearing, and the checkout/cart button was very hard to find.. Also I felt that a 5 day processing time (9/22 - 9/27) was a bit too long. I am used to at most a 48 hour turnaround from order to shipping. Maybe the pulling process needs to be improved, I don't know.
In any case, as long as the product works as expected (mboard cpu combo), I will definately be doing business with your company in the future.

"I thought the prices were great and the web site very easy to use. I was a little disappointed that I placed the order on 09.19.03 and it was not shipped until 09.25.03. I made the shipping choice believing the order would ship within a day of placing it. If I would have been aware of the time delay in processing the order, I might have paid for a faster shipping method. It would be nice to be informed up front when placing the order, of any potential delays so that one could make informed choices in regards to the rest of the order.

"Found the advertisement for the video card ordered via PriceWatch. Order was received earlier than I expected and was exactly what was advertised. Price for the item was very reasonable, as were the shipping charges. Step by step email notification of the processing of my order was very helpful, as was the inclusion of the UPS tracking number and included link to the UPS tracking site, both of which were in the last email I received. In a world where internet based companies come and go over night, I would do business with PCRapids.com again."

Their costumer service reps lack tact, and skills when it comes to serving the costumer. their technical assistance, returns and refunds way bellow any business' standards. Shipping and processing of orders the slowest in the world. I took them a month to send me my product and product was defective. "HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. First, one-month delay in shipping because they repeatedly were processing the order with an incorrect expiration date, even though we repeatedly when over billing information almost daily with them. Then when I received the motherboard, it doesn't work. They constantly bounce you around to different "departments," and ask you to fill out online forms and send emails to certain addresses. Each time you follow this, the person in that area claims they can't help you and that you need to do something different. Both via email and phone. After calling and calling, they promise to call you back, never have. They interupt you and are very quick to get off the phone. Many times when calling, no one picks up the phone. They refuse to call you back and will not discuss details or give you information over the phone and demand you send them email. The emails are replied with brief form letters and do not answer the questions asked."
