"Easy Smooth transaction. Plan to shop here again.
As a Small Buisness I am looking for a good inexspensive supplier. And from what I found PCRapids is full of great values."
"Prices were not the same as advertised on PRICEWATCH....this was brought to their attention. I reduced price was then adjusted...but still not as low as advertised. Shipping rates seem to be more than stated. Communication thru the credit card processing phases was less than satisfactory, and documents had to be faxed twice for verification. they lost the first fax. Phone communication was minimally satisfactory."
"Great MB and PC combo for the price.Slow shipping."
"I would not recommend this firm to anybody, nor order from them again."
"Web site was very miseading when it figured the final prices! you only get correct price when you complete the order!"
"They are a Yahoo store merchant that has no idea of what stock their supplier who is there stock has....they don't know when you order they don't know the next day they don't know much of anything actually"
"I was very satisfied with my purchace of a mother board and cpu from pcrapids. It was sent when promiced and arived with out being damaged. It was nice to have a tracking number so it was easy to know when to expect it to be delivered. "
"I found the add on Pricewatch.com, and it took me to the website to order it. they made it very easy to order or to upgrade the system if I choose to. Computer was very good quality, It was a good time for shipping, I would order from PCRapids again.
thanks"
"A little slow in processing. Could be a lot faster and have in stock what you show to have."
"Took awhile to get the right credit card info but appreciate the companies caution in this area. Purchase was promply process and delivered once card problems were cleared up."
"my main board was easy to install. It came in timely manner. I would recomed this site to other people."
"So far, so good. Very prompt shipping and confirmation emails."
"I ordered a video card on Tuesday. It took them until Friday to process my order. They sent me a confirmation email saying that everything was ok. Monday I get an email from them stating that they need more information to process my order. You would think I was applying for a home loan with all of the crap they expected me to fax or mail them (AND I HAVE GOOD CREDIT). I think they were just stalling because they were out of stock. Don’t' do business with them. By the way, I ordered my card from Newegg yesterday and it's already shipped I should have it tomorrow. NOW THAT’S SERVICE!"
"Pricewatch said 118 for motherboard. They added a testing chage of 9.91 and tried to chage me 18 for ground shipping for a motherboard. Stay away. Do not do buisness with this company."
"This company is awful. I will never order from them again. I ordered (2) AMD 2600+ CPU's (OEM, no fans, no platinum shipping, no extra features, just two cpus, no more, no less) from pcrapids.com. Two days after placing my order, I received a phone call from MicroX (a company that handles their customer service) claiming that I could not get TWO CPU's because orders were limited to ONE CPU but that if I wanted to buy the RETAIL version (AT EXTRA COST) I could get TWO CPU's. (Does this tactic qualify as Bait & Switch?) I told the customer service person I wanted my order shipped as ordered. The customer service rep said he would check on it and call me back the next day. The next day I never got a call, so I called the number on my callerID for MicroX and I got the exact same customer service person on the first ring. He again told me that they would not ship me two processors because there was an order limit. I asked him to show me WHERE there was an order limited documented and he could not. He then contacted his "manager" who ok'd my order for processing. Five days later I get an email telling me my order was cancelled, and the email specifically lists the only two reasons an order can be cancelled is if 1. I request it (I did not.) or 2. They tried contacting me and couldn't. (Untrue, they did contact me and I even returned the call the next day when THEY failed to contact me after promising to do so.) So not only do they practice deceptive and possibly illegal (offering a more expensive processor as a substitute, but making me pay the extra charge) sales tactics, they violated their own cancellation policy to cancel my order.
