"This was my first experience purchasing from Connection.com. My order was flagged for fraud and I had to call in to resolve the issue. The rep said that I could not use a free email service (Proton, gmail, yahoo, etc) to place an order and insisted that I send her an email from my company work email to prove my identity which was a completely unfounded asinine request. I bought the item for my personal use, not on behalf of a company. The rep finally agreed to release the order after I called out the ridiculousness of such a request and said she was going to "make a one time exception". All this hassle for a $20 item. My order was not shipped till 2 days later. I don't know how this company is still in business. Absolute trash company to buy from!! First and last time with Connection.com!!"
"I used to work for connection, and honestly their sale mechanisms is trash. They make sale representivites cold call people and they try to force people to buy from connection. They also lie to people when they call them, we have to read fabricated scripts to convince people to buy IT from connection. Connection is also racist, they do not care for people of color. They only care for white people. They also do not care about the customers they do have, they will lie to you, and tell you anything to persuade you to buy the IT, but trust me you will either get ripped off, not receive your order and etc. Also who wants to support such a racist disgusting company? Look at all these horrible reviews Connection has. Do you guys think these reviews are a lie? No, these reviews are true, and my best advice to anyone that even considers Connection as a reseller, do not do it. All these people care about is money. Trust I used to work there. Please go to other vendors that are not racist and that care about their customers. They also steal people's card information. SO beware if you order from this company, they may still your card info."
"They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. A complete scam. Don't waste ur time. Wish there were options of 0 or negative stars."
"Worst behaviour... people forgot their roots"
"Ordered a smartnet contract and it too 1.5 weeks to find out they needed the serial number. Then called two days later to find out there was a problem with the credit card used."
"I should have known it was going to be trouble when HP directed me to this website that looks like it was created in (and not updated since) the year 2000. But this was the official retailer for HP so I figured it was safe to preorder the new HP Reverb G2 mixed reality headset which is in extreme high demand. I placed my order in August and it was to ship in November. Of course, just before the orders were to go out, the credit card I used for the preorder was stolen and I had to change the payment information.
Enter the complete nightmare. This "Industry Leader" (so they call themselves) only has bank-like business hours 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday thru Friday (yeah you read that right). So I had to wait until Monday morning. Called at 9am, waited on hold for some 15 minutes, was told by the account manager that I needed to talk to the "Credit Card Department" and was rerouted. But before anyone picked up at the cc dept, I was asked for an extension number by an automated machine (?! they rerouted me and they're asking me for an extension now)? So I pressed "0". Waited on hold now for 30 min not knowing if I was even going to the right department or not. After those 30 min, a machine came on and said "sorry, too many people waiting on hold, leave a message". Yes that's right, this "industry leader" told me I had to leave a VOICEMAIL for their credit card department.
Still waiting on a call back. Oh and they'll only call back during business hours (so says the voicemail message). So if this completely under-staffed department doesn't find the time to call me back by the oh-so-late time of 5:30pm, I guess I'm SOL. This is all so they can TAKE MY PAYMENT! This company is complete trash and should be avoided at all costs. HP needs to find a new official reseller b/c this company has no right to exist any more. The fact that they do exist (and as an "industry leader" is a damning indictment of our economic system positing itself as "efficient". Pft one look at the reviews for this company is proof that they should've been shoved out of the market a decade ago."
"Pre-ordered a vr headset from these guys and had a question. Been on hold for over 40 minutes twice this week. First time, was disconnected. Second just gave up. These guys seriously ****."
"Ordered a webcam with 2 day shipping. after 2 days, they call me and tell me the item is on backorder and it won't be in for at least 2 months. I understand the slip up on the front end, but for them to take more than 2 days to even let me know they screwed up is incredibly poor customer service. Not only that, the person I spoke with asked me if I would want an email saying I canceled the order. Really? You have to ask that? Not a company you want to use.

"Bought Quicken Willmaker and the ad had a picture of the box it comes in but only got a cd. Not what the picture showed so the ad was very deceiving and they don't care because they said it did not show anything like that but just look at there ad and you will see it is a Quicken package just like the one I received many years ago with my first Quicken Willmaker. Poor service and will never buy from them again."
"Had questions about a product. Used online contact form TWICE and a week later, no response. If they can't even answer a question, then it would be foolish to buy from them. "
"Tried to get a Laptop overnight for an executive. They charged the credit card but no part was shipped. Called the next day and they said there was a problem with the card so it didn't ship (liars) . The debit account was posted immediately. Since then the account manager was ducking my calls. not returning emails. I talked to several other account managers that couldn't help. One manager said it didn't ship because I ordered it past their deadline to ship. I said I ordered it at 2pm so she said oh that's past the deadline. After i asked a few questions I asked her what the deadline for shipments is? She said whatever time I said I ordered it. REALLY? Liars and scam artists. "
"Purchased on line a Firewall and it was the incorrect license, when I asked for help getting it corrected they passed me around and told "sorry but the sale is final". Gone are the days where companies will do what ever it takes to make it right. Actually there is still one that I know of.. Amazon, I made my mistake by not purchasing the Firewall through Amazon."
"My company made a few purchases; the prices were not great (cheaper on Amazon) but they really push their "Value added" expert advice on technology solutions. So I tell them I need RAID 5 servers for a production environment and their experts put together a configuration that was so bad that the new machines purchased at around $6K ran 10 times worse that the 10 year old machines we were replacing. Their excuse was their "real expert" was on vacation (you only have one ?) and the person that configured it made a mistake. No offers to resolve the issue other than to tell me what "I" should have bought, and to order an even more expensive set of Dell machines from them... Which they said they would "Discount" for my troubles... So the new machines they quotes with this "Discount" were still more expensive than buying the exact same machines with the same configuration off of Dell's website. In my opinion, this company is just a bunch of overcharging charlatans trying to make a quick buck with no concern for their customers or providing solutions."
"I bought an "open box" Chromebook. Price was the best on the Internet and the Chromebook appears to be new. PC Connection shipped it immediately. My only possible complaint was the shipping rate was too high, but I understood that when I placed my order and the overall price was still excellent. "
"They called me to see if we would do business with them. I very politely said I'm not interested at the moment. He asked who we currently work with. I told him and he slammed the phone down in my ear. I will definitely NOT being calling Connection if I need a vendor in the future!"
