"Unbelieveable ! I ordered at 9:00 P.M. from So. Florida and by 10:00 A.M. the pkg. was on my front porch. Fastest service I have ever had and the overnight shipping rates were one of lowest.

"I ordered some dvd disks. One shipped, others backordered. The others did not arrive after a week so I cancelled the order. I quickly got customer service a couple of times and they were helpful. Overall I can recommend them"

"Talk about getting a lot of things right- the company phone number prominent on the website. Someone answered the phone on a Sunday (no wait), pulled up my order and added an item for me in under a minute. All this, and they are consistently one of the most inexpensive sellers on pricegrabber."

"Speedy and easy sales and service. A return was incredibly easy, with no strings. They even shipped a new product overnight before I had returned the bad one. And the original order was 3-day ground!
My only complaint is that they cannot do one-day drop shipments with any other carrier than Airborn. Anything shipped to my rural address via Airborn takes 3 days, since Airborn flies it to Albuquerque and then puts it on UPS 3-day ground. STUPID, but that's Airborn, not PC Connection.

"After reading some of the great reviews, I feel like scrooge, but my experience is contrary to the majority here. On Oct 18th I ordered by phone a CDRW made by Philips. The sales person told me it was in stock and I would see it in a few days. On Oct 25th I called to check the where abouts of my order. The CSR informed me that the order had been cancelled because the item was no longer available. She apologized for no one calling me and informing me. I was a bit miffed about the whole thing and decided I would order elswhere. Maybe it was just bad luck or a fluke, but I certainly will be reluctant to order from them in the future. "

"I ordered a 40gig HDD on 08/25/02 online. I paid extra for 2nd day shipping. On 08/28/02 the HDD did not arrive. I called Airborne Express to learn why my drive had not arrived. The tech told me PCconnection had failed to include my apartment number on the shipping label. The tech told me they would add the label to the package and deliver it the following day.

My package did not arrive the following day. I called ABX again and asked why they had not delivered it. I spoke to multiple ABX techs. One told me it was delivered to the wrong adress on 08/28/02 while another told me it had not been delivered at all, and was waiting at the local ABX depot.

I was disgusted with the whole situation. I called PCconnection and explained the situation. They apologized and offered to send me a replacement HDD overnight via UPS, free of shipping charges. This solution worked- UPS delivered the HDD the next day.

End Result: Airborne Express either lost the package and lied about it or couldn't find my apartment. UPS could and did find my apartment without incident.

I might order from PCconnection again, if I can get them to use UPS. This is the 2nd time ABX has screwed up an order from PCconnection.

"My company uses these guys for many of their PC parts purchases, and we have very few problems with them. Their prices are a bit high for certain items, but the service makes up for it. They ship the same day we order, and overnight deliveries always arrive the next day when the parts are in stock. We have gotten a few bad PCs from them (refurbished ones mostly) but their returns service is just as fast and easy as ordering from them.

"Good customer service. Fast Delivery. Order on July 12 (Fri) and call to solve the credit card problem on July 15 (Mon) and got the package sent from OH via Airborne express ground service on July 16. Will definitely consider to buy from them again."

"Very good experience ordering from PC Connection. I ordered a Canon S40 digital camera, which is very hard to find right now, and they had one left in stock, and shipped it out that night. I might mention that this was ordered around 10 p.m. on a Friday, and they promised Saturday delivery. The salesperson was very friendly and helpful and didn't hard-sell the extended warranty at all. The only downside of the whole deal was their insistence on using Airborne Express, who did not deliver on Saturday as promised. The delivery did occur on Monday, and I would normally be willing to chalk up to a one-time boo-boo, but according to posts here and elsewhere it appears to be a consistent trend. AE was very helpful on the phone however. In all, a first rate company slightly sullying its otherwise excellent reputation with a third rate shipping solution."

"I came across PC Connection by chance, whilst browsing similar listings. In comparison, their prices were marginally higher across the board, but after contacting their International sales team, I was sold. Reason: prompt, accurate, honest and polite responses.

I ended up ordering a D-Link DI-713P wireless gateway and an Orinoco Gold wireless PC card, and even after the international shipping charges (Airborne Express) it was cheaper than similar local products.

I always seek retailer's zip code and do a shipping quotation with their carrier's online resource, to compare with what they are quoting. 90+% of the time, the company is making a profit on the shipping estimate. In PC Connection's case, they actually charged less than the quote I obtained. This only proves that their profit (if any) on shipping, is minimal, even allowing for discount arrangements. RARE in my experience.

The order was placed on a Wednesday (HK time), and arrived on Saturday. Excellent timing.

I was also pleased with VISA payment method. None of the ridiculous (and unnecessary) requirement to pay in advance by wire transfer. This was another factor tipping the balance in their favour. The only possible improvement to the whole transaction wa sif secure, online payment for International customers can be arranged. However, now that I am "on file", it should be even easier to make future purchases.

I will absolutely be visiting PC Connection again for any necessaries, and would nopt hesitate to recommend them to the "non-budget" minded purchaser.

"I ordered a Toshiba Portege 7200CTE. It arrived with the factory seal broken, so they politely offered to pay to pick it up and replace it, which they did. I received the second one, but it overheated to the point where my palm felt like it was on fire. Again, they gracefully took it back. Based on my experience, their performance was very good. I consider Toshiba to be party at fault."

"I have had two small transactions with PC Connection within a month of each other. I purchased, online, a box of 10 DVD+RW discs at the lowest price I could find. In fact, a couple of weeks later I bought another 10 (at the same price). Both times the order went smoothly, I received the goods in less than a week, in perfect condition. I just wanted to relate my experience, since there are quite a few negative comments (about quite a few sites) as I peruse the reviews seeking a low price leader. I post to this site rather than some of the "other" sites because here you really have to be a consumer, not a "ringer". I would shop PC Connection and recommend it based on my experience."
