"When did Bio Pac, Inc. become PaintScratch?
I have chemical senstivities and I have used the dishwashing detergent for close to 2 decades. We purchase in 5 gallon jugs. Our most recent jug smells like PAINT. I called the company, expecting BIO Pac, and was suprised when I got the PaintScratch answering machine.
This is incomprehensible.
Caveat Emptor!
While writing this review two representatives contacted me, offering to replace the jug with a new one. They are aware a "bad batch went out" --- so if you have one that smells like paint, you might want to contact them. (Sure would have been helpful to see that on their website, or hear it on their answering machine.)
I'm waiting to hear from a manager what went wrong and the current ingredient list, before I decide if I can trust their product. I'll post again if the answers are satisfactory. In the meantime, I'm heading down to a local shop to get a substitute dishwashing detergent."

When I first emailed Paint Scratch they informed me that they could perfectly match my 2002 silver Mercedes for touch up work. Once applied, the color was not even close. Paint Scratch had me mail them a sample, it took them so long to respond, that the 45 days required by Pay Pal, to dispute a purchase was exceeded. Now I have to spend $750.00 to fix what they advertised, could be done for $53.00.
What a scam!! I will and would NEVER recommend Paint Scratch to anyone. "
"Ordered touch up paint off of their paint chips and was sent a completely different color. When I contacted them they pretty much said to bad, no returns. I ordered a light green and was sent a dark brown. Their return policy states they would return screw ups but they lied. DON'T BUY FROM THEM."

My friends forewarned me that most of the stuff out there just doesn't work. I found your website by just searching the internet and decided to try it. I just finished the passenger side of my car and it looks so much better than I expected!

treats factory standard paint code as custom. wont let return unopened unused paint. doesnt say clearly when ordering . gives you 1000 word return policy and tells customer to sort it out"
"When I put clear coat on the paint supplier it turned a darker color. Now the chip repair is very noticeable. $45 with Paint Scratch will cost me $1500 at a body shop on a 1997 Z3 with 21000 miles and flawless paint except for a few chips. It totally ruined my left rear panel and hood. Their paint pens are ill advertised. Better off with Dr. Colorchip. At least it is a safe alternative. "

"they sent me what was supposed to be an exact match for my car color, but after painting on the car the color turns out to be darker. Tried to contact them, they find all kind of reasons to make it not their fault saying the original color of the car has faded and i need to blend it and all kind of stuff to make me pay for another custom matched order. "I ordered some touchup paint and clearcoat for my Subie. The paint matches perfectly, much better than the mix that the dealer gave me. The delivery time is a bit long as I think they have to mix each individual color. However, it's worth it. You get plenty of paint for what you pay for."
"Great online paint store. Shipped the paint really quick and the price was very reasonable. They forgot to send an item I ordered along with the paint, but that was remedied quickly. Only thing I wish they could do is ship spray cans to Canada, but I understand why they can't. I definitely recommend them. "
