"I've placed 4 orders with PSA - a complete AR upper, a lower receiver, a lower build kit, and ammo. It's my first AR, but I've seen enough others to know these are good parts at a good price, fit and finish are great and it has chewed through ammo with no problems.
However, 1 of my 4 orders was shipped within the stated shipping time (which, in itself is terrible - 3-5 days processing?!?). The last order took right at 10 days to ship. The worst part is the complete lack of customer service - no email updates, no reasons given, and if you call (and wait on hold forever), they have a "meh, we'll get to it when we get to it" attitude.
I will NOT be ordering gun parts from them again. Maybe if they have the deal of the century on ammo and I'm not in a hurry I'll give it another try with no great expectations, but there are enough other good companies making good parts that actually care about customer service, PSA needs to step up their game."
"Sent Firearms to wrong dealer. Firearm sent back to Palmetto from wrong dealer. Called back after being on hold 45 minutes to get it corrected. Sent order back out took another week to do it. Did not sent me a new tracking number like they where suppose to. Had to call back and stay on hold for another 50 minutes to get the tracking number. Still waiting on firearm to be delivered by ups. Help not trained or they dont care. Dealt with company a long time now they have hit rock bottom. When and if I receive my last order it it not worth my time and money to deal with a company that has nothing but problems and slow if not bad customer service. Owner of business need to do house cleaning! I'm sure they are not aware of these problems. "

"These guys are the worst vendor I have ever used. I purchased a AR pistol from them that was defective and dangerous. After several calls to them, they recommended I send it in for service so I did. The problem was with the trigger assembly and could be fixed by installing a new one in 5 minutes. After repeated calls over the next 6 months I finally got them to admit they never even looked at the gun and the status was just set to pending. I just asked for my money back. They never sent me any information about the return or documentation that the serial number was no longer in my possession as I requested. This was from a PSA produced gun.
I saw a good deal for a S&W produced 15-22 Sport rifle at a good price. I figured if it was made by S&W so they couldn’t screw that up, right? Wrong. I received the gun and it had rust on the barrel. They obviously did not store their inventory in a controlled environment. I left a one star review that they promptly deleted. Palmetto deletes the vast majority of negative reviews and actively writes fake reviews to inflate their reputation. Getting burned two times is enough for me.
I then found that the gun they sold me has a recall from the manufacture that allows the gun to slam fire when charged even if the safety is on until the ammo is spent. Great. They knowingly sold me this gun with the issue and did not disclose it. I could have killed someone. Luckily I was able to find the issue on the internet and get the replacement receiver from S&W. Palmetto is a garbage company. Don’t use them. "
"I've purchased a few items from PSA. Some have shipped quickly, others have shipped not so quickly. I made 2 purchases on 25Jan19. One shipped and was received withing a week. The other still hasnt shipped. The website states to contact customer service if shipping hasnt taken place by day 5. I contacted customer service today, day 5. "Nope, no, don't see anything holding the order up, it should ship soon" per customer service. Should ship soon. When I asked what soon meant. He says today, Friday, or Monday, if not call us back. For real? Call us back? How about you ship the order in a timely manner or at least update the purchaser with something better than should ship soon. Does than mean its ready and whenever Bubba decides to put the label on it will ship? A good company, with good prices and a good product, with pee poor shipping and 3rd grade customer service. Next time I'll pay the difference to a competitor that can actually get the order to me. "
"My wife ordered me a 5.56 lower pistol build kit for Christmas. It was shipped out within 3 working days and I have to say extremely well packed and top quality material. Everything needed to complete the lower build was inside the box.
I ordered a complete upper pistol 10.5 inch on December 31st late afternoon and it was shipped out January 3rd. I am extremely impressed with their packages and customer service along with the quality of the products.
Update when have fired several hundred rounds down range. "
"I ordered the MOE m4 carbine EPT rifle kit. I received the basic shockwave pistol kit. I am confused how a mistake lime this could even be made. Shows a complete lack of QC. When I called customer service to arrange an exchange the representative was very unapologetic. She just said stuff like this happens. Mistakes are made in the "back room". I decided right then to get a refund. Why would I want to support a business that has no regards for their customers satisfaction. I didn't get the Rifle kit I wanted/paid for. All I got was the aggregation of filling out return forms, printing shipping tickets and now making the drive out to a UPS store to send their mistake back. Thanks alot PSA."

"On 9/6/18 I placed an order for a 20" AR 10, .308 upper. On 9/17/18 I received a 10 1/2" AR 15 5.56mm upper. The label on the box was for the AR 15 upper. I called customer service, and they emailed a return UPS label, and said once they received the AR 15 upper, they would ship me the AR 10 upper. On 9/20/18 I shipped the AR15 upper via UPS. On Thursday, 9/27/18 the upper was signed for at 8:37am by a Palmetto employee. When I received no email by 4:30pm on Friday, 9/28/18 I called customer service to find out what was happening with my order. Customer service said my returned AR 15 upper was still sitting at the warehouse. I asked when they planned on shipping me the correct upper, the customer service employee didn't know. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told I would receive a call back. At 4:50pm, a supervisor called me back. I relayed all the information to him and asked what the delay was. He said they had a lot of returns to deal with, and mine would "PROBABLY BE SHIPPED NEXT WEEK." I told him that having a non- caring attitude might put off some customers. His reply, "well, we do what we can." I thanked him and hung up. More like customer disservice. "
