"I purchased a AR 9 upper and lower. Well the lower shipped but the upper was cancelled. i emailed and called but was only able to get a RMA for the lower if i wanted to use it. Then after writing the first review i got an email and call from Chad Wiley the new head of customer service. I explained the situation from my point of view as I still needed the other items on the order and losing the free shipping on them was a problem. I had already reordered by this point so he had them credit the shipping charges on the new order. He then got the remaining parts i had ordered expedited out to me and offered a discount on my next order.
As far as the AR-9 uppers being "In Stock" then having a manufacturing problem. He advised that the 16" uppers had a needed revision due to an out of spec part from a supplier. They had stopped shipment of the uppers until this could be obtained and installed as it was not up to their standards. That as soon as the new ones were available his intention was to take care of the customers that had their orders cancelled if they still wanted the upper. Thanks Chad, hopefully this all works out.
