"WARNING!!! This outfit is bad news. Their telephone customer service is closed during working hours. The batteries I bought were total crap. Beware of these people as it is my opinion, "THEY RUN AN ILLEGITIMATE BUSINESS" "

"Overall experience was satisfactory. Mother's Samsung front load washer had a torn door-to-tub diaphragm. Local SearsParts center said it would take seven to ten bussiness days. None of the other parts places had it either. My first time ordering parts online. Partstore had it for a bit more than Sears but also had two-day shipping. Their website said it was "in stock." I placed order Monday afternoon expecting the part three days later, one for processing plus the two-day shipping. On Tuesday I come across this site and after reading some of the reviews I begin to worry a bit. I quickly checked my order status on Partsore and, to my dismay, I see the part is on "backorder". I spend all day Wednesday mentally preparing my self for who knows how long a wait without a working washing machine. Expecting more bad news I check the part status again on Thursday and see that it had shipped the day before and was due to arrive Friday. It did and I was happy but I rather would have done without the scare. My only concern now is what's up with the sales tax. The UPS lable says this thing was shipped from Florida to Texas. The invoice has a tax of 10.8 percent."

"Wow!!! What a scam these people are! I ordered a part for my TV, everything is in stock and I order it overnight shipping. After 2 days and no activity I call them. They say it's on a National Backorder so I cancel the order and order from elsewhere. Same night I recieve 2 emails stating the part has been shipped... oddly the tracking number is too short for a legit UPS code!!! Same story as a previous poster! So basically I spent $30.00 on overnight shipping when it took 2 full business days to even ship.

These idiots are crooks, plain and simple.

"Ordered an appliance part. Product listed as "Usually ships in 4 - 6 business days". Waited 2 weeks, no e-mail regarding shipment. Then I noticed they had jacked up the price from 5x.xx to 75.95 (and now it's at 80.95). I presume they weren't eager to fulfill the order since I placed it at the earlier lower price.
Worse, they charge sales tax to orders shipped out of NY.

"I ordered a part for my Samsung TV. After several days and no update to my order status I called. I was told that part had been discontinued from the manufacturer and could not be filled. I asked why was another listing for the same part and about $40 less now on the web site and was told I could cancel my first order and order that one. This was handled over the phone and was told the order would go out to the warehouse and should ship in about 4 days. My new order now says "backordered". I called again, this time being told the part is now on a "National Backorder" from the manufacturer after being told previously that the part had been discountinued by the manufacturer. Turns out this place is a call center that locates parts after you order them. Thats why it takes 4 or more days to ship out. They have to try and locate the part and then have it shipped to you. I'm very unsatisfied with the service and with the explainations I have been given.

Update: I ordered my part from another supplier, it's in stock and will ship today. I called to cancel and was asked if I didn't want to keep the order since the part was suppose to ship in another 24 days. I declined, told him to cancel. I was then told that he would try to get the cancellation order to the warehouse in time but the part may get shipped and I would have to return it. The parts out of stock for another 24 days and he's telling me he might not be able to catch it in time to cancel before it ships. Keep searching the internet and find someone not associated with this company to buy from. Be careful, alot of companies have contracted with these people to handle their parts.com business. Such as BestBuy.com Don't walk...Run away from these people.

"The remote on my Samsung Plasma flat screen TV died. Ordered a replacement at a decent price from PartStore. Received the part in 6 days - TV now works - family happy and so am I. Usually go to reseller ratings before I buy, but did not on this purchase. Glad I didn't, because I might not have bought here and still be looking. (Still trust Reseller Ratings, though)"

"WOW!!! what a joke of a place. DISHONEST.
Called and asked if they had an order in stock, was told they did and so I ordered it. Received an email two days later. Part was on national backorder till July 17. Waited till then. On July 20 I was told the backorder was extended till August 1. Canceled the order. Two days later I get two emails. One saying my part had been shipped and the other saying to late to cancel oder since part was already shipped. Wow go figure. Tracking number of the first email was for some other guys shipment. Called partstore and they give me this run around. Oh we shipped the product and UPS must have given the wrong tracking number. Well I use to work for UPS and that is nearly impossible. So they told me to call in a lost package claim. Yeah nice one. Maybe I should call in the better business bureau and I'll call UPS.
Seriously don't order from these guys. I think they are going under and are just cleaning out the warehouse with the parts that are in stock. Those that aren't in stock they are giving you the run around. Once the warehouse is emptied...closing the doors.

"Be careful of this place. Their 30-day return policy only applies if you haven't installed the part - and that means even used it for a second to test it out. In my opinion, that defeats the whole purpose of ordering parts."

"I ordered a replacement LCD Projection TV Bulb for my Sony KDF-42WE655 TV. According to their shipping policy, it takes one business day from when you order until when they ship. I did not hear anything the next day so I called the 800 number, but they were unable to tell me anything beyond what I could see myself using the online order status. However, the part did ship the day after I placed the order. It seems the online system and the 800 number were not up to date with the current shipping status. They list their location as New York, but the part shipped from a Miami, Florida location which I was not expecting.

The part arrived in brand new condition and worked perfectly.

"I must be one of the lucky ones - my order shipped incredibly fast and everything arrived as promised. I needed a coupler and a cycle switch for my 90 series Kenmore washing machine. I placed my order early in the morning on June 8th. The order was on my doorstep when I arrived home on June 9th. "I ordered some phone parts from these CON ARTISTS, and when I went to checkout online, this message came up: "Please call our Account Manager at 1-866-925-PART (7278) so that we can arrange for special assistance with your order." I called and made the order, and when I got the email invoice, they had added more for shipping and (I don't live in NY) SALES TAX too! They said they charge for phone orders! I've never run across this anywhere else. The order was back-ordered for 2 weeks, but finally arrived. I won't shop there again. I hate nickle and dime ripoffs. I tried another order today, just out of curiosity, and the "Please call our Account Manager" message popped up again! STAY AWAY!"

"AWFUL...

I needed a part for a client of mine. My usual supplier was out of stock. I called partstore to see if it was in stock. It was....

I told them I needed it in a hurry, they 1) directed me to their website, where their shipping info says they can accommodate overnight shipping. and 2) said to order it online with the overnight shipping option...

Guess what. Never showed up. upon calling their "customer service" basically had the approach of 'tough luck what do you want us to do'.

Incidentally, the part in question with 'overnight shipping', took almost a week to get here.

(Oh and that client of mine, took his $35k of business elsewhere as a result of this company!)

I cannot urge people strongly enough NEVER to use this company. I'll never in a million years make the same mistake again!

"I ordered some Sharp microwave parts and recieved a notice that the parts were backordered. I called and they said that they had on expected ship date, so I canceled the order. I ordered the parts at a local appliance store and two days later they e-mailed me to say that the parts had already been shipped and to just return the part when they arrived. I called and got a return authorization number and returned the parts.
I did not read their return police and after waiting 2 weeks and still not refund to my account I called and found out that their policy states that it may take 2 billing cycles to get a refund.
I think that 60 days for a refund is bad business.
