I did not do business with FedEx BUT PersonalizationMall.com, they should be responsible.

PersonalizationMall.com literally responded the next (August 25th) day of my inquiry:
"Standard Shipped orders afford no specific delivery date guarantees, and we are unable to cancel orders once the personalized items are produced. Again, we are very sorry that FedEx has caused this inconvenience."
SURPRISE RUINED!
I never got it on time and they are irresponsible. Do NOT order anything from them if you need it at certain time.
I ordered from PersonalizationMall.com on Thursday, August 15th for my husband's birthday on the 24th. They sent it through FedEx, and they said "Package shipped on August 19, 2019 via FedEx.". I logged into FedEx.com to track the package and it said:
“Friday, 8/23/2019 6:06 pm. Delivery exception. Customer not available or business closed"
“Thursday, 8/22/2019 2:38 pm. "Delivery exception. Customer not available or business closed"
All of the above statements by FedEx are a complete lie; they never knocked at my door or rang the bell, and I am absolutely positive of this because I have been sick and I have been home all the time during the last week.
Nevertheless, when I saw this situation, I requested FedEx to hold the package on site; they said they would deliver it at my local Walgreens at the end of the day, around 6:00 PM. As they never contacted me through text message as I also requested, I decided to go twice today to Walgreens to pick up the package. It was 10:00 PM and they had not delivered anything.
As of today, August 26th nothing has been delivered yet.
My husband’s birthday was on August 24th. This package contained my husband's birthday present and I never got it. The surprise is completely, absolutely ruined. I demand a refund."
"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered one of the custom cutting boards (the man, the meat, etc.) , and the print on the left side of the picture of the animal at the bottom was larger than on the right side. After reading their guarantee (sounding all sweet and nice), I called the company and that customer service girl was NOT nice at all. They had me send in pictures, and then denied my claim, saying that it is supposed to be like that in order to get the words to fit and O is bigger than the letter T, blah, blah. So, it looks completely off balance. Why didn't they just shrink the writing on the left to match, so it wouldn't look so lop sided? I left a bad review on their website, still waiting to see if they "change it" or not post it. I get the impression they only post the good reviews."
"Just FYI: I placed an order (Christmas gifts for my son's teachers) at the beginning of November 2017. They sent me an email that the order had been shipped with tracking number. When I clicked on this tracking number, I kept getting "no information available" since Nov 17. I called UPS, I was told I should call Personalization Mall bc they never got the package. When I called Personalization Mall, I was told they gave the package to UPS and it was out of their control. I got bounced back and forth between PM and UPS. PM finally told me they would do an investigation and that would take 7-10 days. I told them I needed that package by Dec 15 for the teachers. They basically responded that I must wait for them to investigate. I demanded a refund. Once again, I was told I must wait for them to investigate. They refused to resend the package to me!!! I was a faithful customer. I ordered so much from them and they didn't even take that into consideration. I will NEVER order anything from this place again"

"This company ****! Ordered a print with my family names on it. Arrived much darker than what showed on the website. Could not read it from 5 feet away. The company sent the case through their "quality assurance department" who said it was made correctly and the could / would not make it better. Furthermore, they refused to give me a refund. I had to go through PayPal to get my money back. STAY AWAY!"
"PersonalizationMall.com made my day!! I made the mistake of ordering these from a different company. After two weeks and my deadline coming closer, they still had not been shipped. I promptly cancelled that order and began looking for another place to get these. After finding PersonalizationMall.com, I decided to give it a try. During a holiday week, I ordered these on a Monday evening, paid for expedited shipping, and had these by Friday. Seriously good service!! Also, the picks look amazing!! Thank you PersonalizationMall.com!!!! P.S. Even with expedited shipping, PM.com was cheaper than the other company too. Will definitely do business here again!"
"I was personalizing a bereavement gift and it was added to the shopping cart. Upon clicking the cart to check out, it asked me to sign in, which I proceeded to do. I hit the check out button thinking that the gift i was personalizing was added to the cart and then proceeded to enter my credit card information. A few days later, I received an email that my order was shipped and noticed that what shipped was an item I had shipped months earlier. I tried calling customer service right away but they were closed. Then I sent an email regarding this. I didn't receive a call back to my email concern so I called customer service again. I didn't want another shipment of the same thing I ordered in the past for a specific someone's 40th birthday! That happened already! Anyway, the rep. I spoke to - Kisha - and her supervisor - Jean - said they cannot accept a return on this. I don't know what the error was, but I did this on my phone and on most websites, once you add something to your cart and sign in to check out, it places that item in the check out process. In the future I will order from a more company-consumer-understanding policy that has a more efficient check out process. I will also be sure to inform my family and friends of this complaint. "
"This company has horrible customer service. I ordered Easter baskets almost 1 month ago and I am still waiting on them. I paid $19 for shipping....yes, $19, and the baskets are still "in transit". Keep in mind, these Easter baskets are 4x the price of baskets in Walmart and Target, but they come with embroidered, which is a nice added touch (keep in mind also that their website says the personalization is free....clearly, it is not). I contacted customer service through their chat and was told there was nothing they could do for me. It looks like I will be getting baskets after Easter. $70 down the drain!"
"On the check out page after having added a promo code, the "Amount that will be charged to your credit card" said one thing; and after hitting "Place Order", the amount was higher. If I didn't look, I wouldn't have known. That, folks, is called 'bait and switch'!!
I sent a copy to their C/S email address, and when I called to discuss, the rep told me "it was irrelevant". She (Shawna) clearly didn't care and was rude. For $9.95, rather than provide a professional courtesy for the error on their website, they lost an existing customer."
"Don't say you'll transfer personal logos onto a product, send a confirmation showing it done properly then ship an item that the logo is clearly upside down, and then send me this response after I've sent you pictures as proof

"I called them today because my package looks like delivered but I didn't receive it. The woman on the phone was rude and nasty. She told me that people living in apartments should give a home address or have a P, O. Box so these things do not happen. Totally dumb and did not even apologize and immediately cut me off the call."
"The website was pretty simple to use and ordering was easy. I did order gifts and send them out instead of having them sent to me so I do not know the quality of the recieved products, but I got great deals and things were shipped out and arrived in a timely manner. They had a wide variety of personalizable products verging on the edge of almost too much. The website, although easy to naigate to an experienced user seemed very 'busy' and may confuse someone not savvy to online shopping."
"I've ordered personalized mugs, cups and golf balls, they all turned out amazing, loved them and they made great gifts. Sometimes I was not able to find what I was looking for online so its nice to be able to design your own gifts for friends and family. We ordered wedding labels, they turned out perfect, exactly what we wanted and could not find anywhere else. I've ordered cards for weddings & anniversaries and they all turned out great, were a reasonable price, even with shipping they were still on par with store prices....and they we personalized to each person or couple which made them more special than store bought."
"I ordered a retirement plaque for a friend. The shipping itself was outrageous (simple post office priority mail 3-4 days is cheaper, but not offered). My delivery timeframe in small print was 7-10 business days. We then received a delivery date via UPS and were happily surprised. Don't think that will be your date you actually get it, this is just a date to make you feel good. The package arrived 4 days after the GIVEN delivery date. Talking about a hassle to figure out where my package was. Oh, and customer service...what a sad excuse of service. They may as well put a note in their package:"If anything is wrong and you were inconvenienced, don't bother to call...we do not want to hear it." The rep put herself on mute until I was done talking, then she came back and ask me, if there is anything else she can help me with and refused to put a manager on the phone. Will not order from them again!"
"This place is a joke. I ordered Christmas cards on 12/7 and they didn't make it to my house until 12/23, even though they sent me a notification that my order had shipped on 12/8. What am I supposed to do with Christmas cards that NEED TO BE MAILED on 12/23? And, they sent out the order with NO ENVELOPES. Who sends out Christmas cards without a friggin' envelope. It's very obviously a necessary part of the card giving experience. These were not only Christmas cards, they were a Christmastime announcement of my wife and I expecting a child. RUINED. LAME. Personalization Mall, you suck!"
