"I ordered a 34 lb bag of puppy food by mistake. It was for a new puppy and I found out I had ordered the wrong kind. When I received it I asked if I could return it. I was told yes but I would have to pay for the shipping. That's totally ridiculous. Shipping back a 34 lb bag would cost me more than I paid for the food. If this was CHEWY they would have credited me what I paid and told me to donate the food to my local humane society. You need to take a lesson from them. I will NEVER order anything from PETRX again. I did donate the food to my humane society even though I did not receive a refund.

"PetCare RX is a great company to deal with. They have a broad selection of medications, as well as a fair selection of toys and dog food. I really like the convenience of getting my pets' prescription medications through mail service as it saves having to make a trip to my vet just for meds, especially when they are 20 miles from where I live. When I need a refill, they contact my vet and get my pets' medications shipped to me in a timely manner. I usually have same within three to five days of requesting a refill depending on circumstances (Ie when they have to contact my vet for a refill sometimes it takes a little longer as they have to wait for the prescription to be sent to them from the vet). The prices are reasonable; no more than what I would pay at the vet's office and most of the time are cheaper. I also like the fact that they send you reminders when you are running low on a prescription. I would highly recommend getting your prescription medications for your pets from PetCare RX."

"I unfortunately cancelled my order because it took several days for my prescription to be verified. I was able to successfully purchase the prescription cat food from another online vendor (Chewy) who accepted my copy of the prescription. I initially ordered at this website because it was out of stock at Chewy. Once 3 days had passed and petcarerx had still not verified my script, I realized the food was back in stock at Chewy which made me cancel the order. I had listed two veterinarians and both were opened during hours during this 3 day window that I was waiting. I am sure PetCareRX employees work very hard to get these confirmed timely, but my pressing need for the food made me turn elsewhere. The employees were able to cancel the order before a charge was made. There were some delays in response to my email requests and it was difficult to reach an individual on the phone. Thank you for all you do for our pets, again I know you all work very hard and it is likely a staffing issue. "
