"I would not go back to Grape Road PetSmart if you paid me to they are horrendous they did a horrible job on my Yorkie's they came back bald copy all through their hair no blending whatsoever I do hair for a living and they had their hair in the face so chopped up that I had to go over and blend it myself. Whatever you do do not take your pets to PetSmart on Grape Road. Ireland Road does an excellent job I must say Grape Road is horrible they have horrible customer service there managers are even rude both of my Yorkie's bad razor burn their nails were cut Jagged and sharp and cut one of my family members to blood. They did the worst job I've ever seen of my babies being groomed ever. I would never ever take my dogs to PetSmart on Grape Road they will do a butcher job on your pets you will be highly disappointed and like I said you couldn't pay me to go back to that Salon if that's what you call it they don't even know what they're doing they don't get the right training obviously because they don't know how to cut dog's hair. They don't even deserve one star the only reason they got one is cuz I had to put something they get a zero in my book and I will spread this around to all my clients and make sure everyone that I've come across knows not to take them to Grape Road PetSmart. And also their manager Chris he's a delightful person loll luckily corporate fixed the issue they were very polite and they are going to hear about Chris's attitude when I came in don't take your dogs to Grape Road PetSmart period!!!! Like I said Ireland Road is a different story they do an excellent job and they actually know how to cut animals hair. This quote-unquote Salon is not a salon they do the quickest most horrible job I've ever seen in my life I'd like them to come to my salon and let me cut their hair. Give them razor burn and have unblended uneven hair that they even have left it's pitiful that "Salon" should be shut down I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau"

"It seems like PetsMart is heading down the same path as K-Mart and Sears. Lousy customer service, they have an, "I don't care attitude" and the management is awful. I have been to two different PetsMarts here in Albuquerque and it is the same in both places. Today, December 24th I was scheduled to get my Morki groomed at 9:00. When I arrived they said I did not have an appointment. After reading the reviews, this seems to be nationwide. Spoke to two different managers and their attitude was basically that they didn't care whether I shop there or not. You loose one customer, you loose 10, that 10 becomes 100 and that 100 becomes 1,000 and on and on.
I grew-up in retail and I would NEVER think of treating a customer in this manner. I will never step another foot in PetsMart again. And what is interesting is that in Houston when I lived there, it was the same attitude at PetsMart. You went into PetCo and they treated you like royalty. You went into PetsMart and they treated you like dirt. I wonder when they will declare bankruptcy because you don't run a business like this! Especially in retail.

. Previous to Rocinante (Roci), I have had four Great Danes in my life. I had trainers for all of them but Kevin is the best of all. Roci is a mix of mostly Great Dane, Boxer and hound; He weighs 90 lbs and Kevin handles him like putty! He bases his training on love, rewards, encouragement and positive reinforcement.

"I need numerous things from Pet Smart but don't go there anymore. They offered a "rewards card" but only if I would give them my phone number. I refuse to give my phone number and asked if they would take my email, but no go. I know they sell customers phone numbers to other businesses. I've noticed other businesses doing the same thing: only giving rewards cards to customers who give out their phone numbers and then harvesting those numbers to sell to other companies! Stop it."

Pit Bull Mauls, Kills Dog At Petsmart During Grooming Appointment
— A Pennsylvania family is mourning the loss of their dog after it was mauled to death during a grooming session at a local PetSmart.

Betty Miller told WNEP that she dropped off her 12-year-old dog named Brewster at a PetSmart location in Dickson City.
Later that day, Miller received a call that her beloved bichon had been transported to an animal hospital after it was attacked by another dog, a pit bull. Brewster died before he arrived at the hospital, WNEP reported.
“I felt so guilty the day it happened because we would say to him, ‘You want to go bye-bye?’ And he’d hop in that car, and he didn’t know it was going to be his last ride,” Miller told the news station. “It was hard, very, very hard. He’s been with us for 12 years.”
Miller described Brewster as loving, gentle and funny.
“He loved everyone,” Miller said.

While details about the incident remain unclear, Miller said her dog was “bait” for the pit bull.
“Why would you want to bring a pit bull past a small dog who's really just bait?” she said, according to WNEP."
"I bought a gecko from the Regina, SK, Canada Petsmart and on the way home it started to curl in a ball and shake super fast. I luckily bought heatpacks so i warmed them up and warmed the gecko up. It helped a bit. But I had to return the gecko 4 days later because it puked up everything it ate. I then decided to get fish months later from the same store. When they bagged the fish there was a tiny hole with water slowly dripping out. I asked if i could get a new bag. they said No. So I asked if they could double bag it. Again, they said no. Once they walked away I went to grab another bag. A worker came around the aisle and slapped my hand and said stop trying to steal. So i bought a small fish bowl, for on the way home just in case the bag broke. & 10 minutes into my 45 min drive home the bag bottom gave out in the bowl. If it wasn't for the bowl, I would have had 4 flopping fish all over my truck. The fish later died that night .. I called petsmart and complained about what happened and they said that I was lying and that never happened.. then they replied with if you want i could press charges against you for trying to steal ... I hung up.. "
"Today August 23 my dog got hit by a car. But was still alive. It happened right infront of the store. So it was 6:05. Of couse im screaming and crying. But i went and asked a man who work at pet smart to help me. He told me "we close at 6. We can no longer help you today". My puppy of 12weeks was dying. He told me no. I had to sit there and hold my dog while she was gasping for air. The man just kept refusing to help me. Me being only 16 years old and having my dog dying in my arms and this man will not help me is horrible. Pet Smart is the worst company ever. I will NEVER shop there again.
