"I initially tried a "sister" company of PrintPlace (be aware: these are basically same company : PrintPlace.com and UPrinting.com) to print some greeting cards. UPrinting didn't tell me that they actually didn't have the paper in stock that I had ordered, and I only found this out the day before the cards were supposed to be delivered. Grrrr! A week of lost time! I stopped my order after they told me it was probably not going to be days, but weeks or perhaps months before the (very common) paper was in stock. (This is during the widespread "supply chain shortages" of late 2021, covid.)
Not knowing they were "sister" companies, I then went to PrintPlace.com, which had similar good prices. Their websites looked SO similar, though, that I thought to ask whether they are the same company and got the "sister" answer, whatever that means exactly. One thing it meant was that they didn't have the paper in stock that I needed either. The PrintPlace guy was extremely helpful, and I think because of his efforts, my job was somehow prioritized and I received the cards BEFORE the estimated time just for PRINTING them was up (less than 5 business days from order to receipt, with no rush charges!). And in the end, their prices are good and the quality is fine. I feel they are working hard to overcome the bad reviews others have left. They certainly did very well for me, and I have used them in the past before for other works with no problems.
And I must say too, that (other than the crucial slip of not mentioning the paper shortage) UPrinting was very attentive on the phone, very friendly and helpful. It might have been stupid not to tell me of the paper shortage, but besides that, I think they would have been great too."
"They charge a non refundable $25 dollars upfront.
They they say it takes 3 days to get the first draft. 3 days comes and NO DRAFT.
They and their partners Same Day Flyers add all sorts of products to your cart and keep emailing you to pay for stuff you did not order or the same product you already paid for.
They also keep sending to to give them surveys even though the services is not already complete."
"Order #26775…Do not use! I sent emails to update what I wanted written on my placard. No response. Asked about shipment because I need it by 8/14 for my wedding anniversary! Going to call BBB to complain about their business."
"Horrible service. Incorrect printing. Somebody was supposed to contact me to solve my inquiry, it has been a month, and nobody did it!
Waste of Money "
"I ordered some business cards and they exceeded my expectations! I had a slight hiccup with my file but I contacted them and they helped me get it sorted out. Great customer service and fast shipping!"
"The sticker was dope! I ordered a small set to give away at a vendor event. We liked them so much our team ended up throwing them on our water bottles and laptops. Stickers still look great!
Came so fast too!"
"We ordered a rack card from them and within minutes of an order, we needed to change a few words and contacted them. They told us that we could not do it because it was already being printed. There was no way it would have been. Then we told them to just stop printing so that we could change it, then they told us if they would do that we would have to just reorder the product and pay the full price again. Then we told them to just cancel the order and give us a full refund. They told us that they would only give us a half refund. They are ripping off people. Do not use them at all they are a bad company and liars. Their customer service is a joke also."
"Their ads say customer service is US based but that is not the case. When you contact customer service, they always have to "contact" another department to ask the question you just asked them. Usually it results in much time spent by phone, through live chat and sometimes it ends up being that they have to email you back after they talk to them. It seems like some of the customer service reps don't understand the questions you are asking so the answer you get back isn't even for what you were talking to them about. Really frustrating to work with. "
"I’ve used Print Place several years simply because of their pricing. Their quality is acceptable for a “gang-run” type printer. Where they fall miserably short is if there is a problem with your job. Whether it is production delay, job shortage, or shipping issue they could care less. If it can’t be resolved by their online processes it’s impossible to get anyone on the phone beyond a front line CSR who is only looking at a screen and incapable of offering a solution other than re-running for an additional cost of course. My latest fiasco with them involved A time sensitive project for my second largest customer in which it didn’t get shipped correctly and was lost. They would not go to bat for me against the carrier(whom they were contracted with). Finally I should also note that management in these instances is completely inaccessible. DO NOT USE!!!!!"
"I've reached out to customer support several times over the past couple weeks. The first response asked me to create an account, which I did, but since then my email messages have gone unanswered"
"Not very much happy with their services. Very slow delivery process!"
"I WAS HELP BY A LADY BY THE NAME OF JENIFER, SHE WAS SO VERY PATIENCE, VERY HELPFUL, UNDERSTANDING AND DID I SAY EXTREMELY PATIENCE? YES SHE WAS… SHE IS THE BEST. THANKS AGAIN JENIFER FOR YOUR HELP WITH MY DESIGN"
""To say I am disappointed with PrintPlace is an understatement. I ordered business cards for a trade show Friday 8/13, paid for Express turnaround and Express shipping, expecting it would arrive by end of the following week as their website showed the date as available, took my order, my money & sent confirmation. I contacted PrintPlace 2 days prior to expected arrival because I need the cards and was told the cards would not be arriving until the following week - by a rep and a "Lead" (whatever that is) named Kanesha after holding for over an hour. When I asked for a Manager I was told there isn't one at all, anywhere. Be advised, Kanesha is the owner. This is ridiculous-I won't be using them for anything ever. I am recommending that you skip this company and call one who cares about their reputation and your timelines - printingforless.com ask for Tami tell her Lisa sent you. She tried very hard to make up for Print Place screwing me - unfortunately for me there wasn't enough time, but you can still save yourself if you haven't ordered from these bumbles yet. This review will be posted on every review site I can find, starting with Yelp."

"I love this company! They may get a few things wrong but they need to better train their customer service staff to be more sensitive to the needs of their customers. "
"I have had experiences with customer service where I have been treated regularly, but Print Place.
The people who answer the phone seem to be sleepy, and those who respond to the emails do a poor follow-up work.
We requested some envelopes for offering from the church, the first 1000 did them well, but when we made the second order of 2000 envelopes, they changed the original color of the logo and art.
We made the claim, and we have more than 40 days and nobody has resolved, they say that we send photos with the evidence of the work, and we have done it 2 times and they say that we have not sent the photos to the email.
They do not help, they do not solve, it's depressing how they have treated us either by phone or email.
A 0 rating in customer service.
