"I can't thank privateislandparty.com enough for coming through and making the 60 customized sunglasses for us, last minute.. you got it! I called them up and had a quick response and good customer service they know because we told them about the sentimental event we had to support kids that are being bullied. They were very careful and let us know right away they could do them. When I recieved the tracking number, I called them up and they again were very supportive and helped me track the order. Cant' thank them enough! The kids were so excited to recieve them, and I very pleased.. will recommend to all my friends and will be back in the furure for Halloween!"

"I ordered scarves for an office party. They arrived in a timely manner. When I opened the box, a very strong musty smell came through. They were awful. OK, I'll wash them, as was rudely suggested by their customer service. Below are a couple of excerpts from their emails:
1) "have you read our return policy you agreed to by placing the order? We do not offer full refunds regardless. All items have a 30 percent restocking fee regardless, if chose free shipping, that cost to ship to you would be taken out of remaining balance and you would have to ship back at your own cost. Please confirm you understand as there is no exceptions and we will send you a PDF RMA. "
"It is a tight return policy only because abuses of customers in the past. Sorry there is nothing I can do. I assume to keep them and wash with fabric softener or fabric sheets to get the smell away and to soften them. I know no one who would wear a scarf without washing it first."
2) "As per our return policy, the reason mentioned, does not indicate a item had defect. A strong musty odor is easily solved by washing the scarves and as mentioned by customer service, we knew no customer, that would not wash scarves, prior to wearing"
"We had told you by the time you shipped both boxes back, minus all fees, you might as well keep them since you also paid for shipping them back, which you may have even lost money."
I find it interesting that the last email was signed "Respectfully" when the entire thing was completely lacking any respect whatsoever. Sarcasm? Yes. Condescension? Yes. But by no means respect.

"I was using this company to purchase sunglasses for my clients. I ordered one colored sunglasses, but what I received in the mail was a completely different color. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and contacted them to see if it could be corrected, and the owner gave me the run around and said it was MY fault I received the wrong color. Not sure how it is my fault when I specifically choose a color and did not receive that color that I paid for. The owner went on to say that there was nothing he could do for me, except have me pay a restocking fee if I ship the glasses back. At this point, it's a waste of money for me. They lost a customer today, as I will not be using them in the future for my recurring purchases for my clients!"
"I used Private Island Party to order 30 pairs of sunglasses for a friend's bachelorette party. They were gold rimmed sunglasses that sort of looked like John Lennon's. Anyway, I ordered a bunch, they didn't have them in stock, so the company got in touch with me right away, and offered to send me a very similar pair. They sent them to me within a few days, and they gave me a discount for not having the right pair in stock. Overall very pleased with my experience and will use them again! "
