"I bought an island range hood in 2012. Myself and my wife were able to install it ourselves, we had one question and it was immediately answered.
On to 2020, the control panel became loose. I was able to get it out without a whole lot of trouble. It had a small crack in one end, so I found the original email (I had forgotten from where I had bought it). Found the phone number, phone answered immediately by a very knowledgable "human". Email was sent to me I described the problem and sent some photos. Twenty-four hours later they are sending me the part!"

Update on Review (Written about 11 days after original review):
Unfortunately, I have had to change my review and downgrade the company to 3 stars. Here is why: It has been close to 2 weeks since I ordered my replacement LED lights.
Proline can't give me an estimated date on when they will be in stock. Further, they refused to give me a model number for the lights so I could go out on my own and reorder. (I suspect that the problem is that they are probably manufacturing in China and they don't have clear dialog with their factory. I honestly don't think Proline USA knows what model the lights are. Google searches are fuzzy at best. Add in the difficulties in shipping from China due to tariff issues, etc. and Proline is at the mercy of their Chinese manufacturers.) What I did do was go on Amazon and try to match what lights I need. I found a source... and in the comments/reviews, one of the customers said that these particular lights did work for the Proline PLJW 185. Lights that I ordered have yet to arrive.
Here's my issue with Proline, though... They started great on customer service... and indicated they would go ahead and send me free lights for a review. (I was perfectly happy to pay.) I said, "sure" and gave them the review. (To be frank, the product deserves a good review because it is solid - with the exception of the junk LED lights which failed.)
After I gave my review... I got a message that the "drivers are out of stock." (I think they meant to write "lights.") This message was 2 days after they told me my order was being packed.
TO SUMMARIZE: Happy with the product overall... But, follow up on replacement lights: Not so good. (I think this will eventually get sorted out... I just feel that this has been a lot of trouble and a pain in the rear.)

Original Review: We've had our Proline PLJW 185 range hood for about 2 years. We've been very happy with the look and performance of the unit. Sadly, our LED lights went out and stopped functioning. Although I'd prefer to see ProLine have an easy online order process for replacement lights on its website, Brittney in Customer Support was very easy to deal with to help get us sorted out. I think that overall, you get very good value from ProLine and I would recommend doing business with them based upon my overall experience with both their product and their support team. (On a side note, we hired a professional installation company to install the product which I had ordered. The lead guy on the job told me that he thought ProLine products were top-notch as well.)
