"A few years back we had a new roof installed. Apparently the roofers did not properly seal around the exhaust outlet for my hood. Rain water was able to run down and collect inside my range hood, shorting out the control module. After going round and round with my home warranty company I decided to take matters into my own hands and call Proline myself.
To my surprise I was greeted by a real person and not an automated system. I explained my issue to the operator and she was able to answer my questions within 2 min. Told me the part I needed and was able to help me finish the ordering process on the part.
Here's the best part. My hood was purchased years ago and they not only had the part in stock, they still carry the exact same hood. Try walking into home cheapo a year after your purchase and try to find the exact same product you previously purchased.
