"My overall experience was okay. However, it was advertised in my email that the renewal would cost 84.99 and when I went to renew, it was priced at 99.99 and there was no way to change it.
It is very misleading. Please advise.

"Overall the representatives were very helpful. There is a problem with your system though, when they would try to transfer me to the corporate center I would get disconnected, happened 3 times. Put all of that aside they were helpful and answered all my questions and helped me get set up."

"Ordering was very easy. Protectcell had no problem charging my Credit Card for the policy premium. However, contacting ProtectCell is another story. Their website says Call or Email but don't email, no one will get back to you.

I work in a position where I can't just step out and make phone calls. So I took a minute and emailed a question I had about the policy. I waited 3 business days and did not hear back. So I sent another email. 3 more business days later, still nothing. So on a day off I called. My call went right through to a representative who was very helpful and answered my questions. I asked the rep why I didnt get a reply to my email and she told me they were too busy to reply to emails unless the person left a phone number in the email. I suggested to the rep that ProtectCell should either take the email address off the website or include instructions to add your phone number.

Overall, I am very happy with the service I have received via telephone."

"My fiancé works for a Verizon retail and I learned of the insurance there. At first I thought it was bogus and the fact I would have to drop so much money down up front was insane. So when I initially bought my iphone I did not get any insurance on it at all thinking I would just protect my phone with a case. Well on my iphone 4 I had the best buy protection and actually had to use it. Not for me destroying my phone but because the phone home button stopped working. So after about two days I got on line and actually read how protect cell works and found it to be pretty useful. Not too often a company gives you protection on your identity with an insurance plan. And giving me rewards on app purchases works out considering what is the number one thing an iPhone user does but buy apps. So I studied it and crunched numbers and for 99 dollars to cover 2 years it beats out any other protection. Not to mention I can do everything from my house rather then go to Best Buy and sit in line for an hour to fill out paper work and get a sucky replacement phone for a week. I've yet to use protect cell of course. But just from a buying it standpoint it sounds like the smartest buy of the other two ( best buy and assurion). So so far I feel like I can play on my phone and not worry about dropping it or it bugging out. "
