"Working with Puget systems was a great experience--from my initial questions about a possible system through the arrival of my awesome Serenity desktop. Everything from the buying experience to the packaging and performance of my system when it arrived was excellent. I would recommend Puget Systems to anyone. "
"Puget has one of the best if not the best customer service experiences I have ever had. Every step of the process was extremely organized and helpful with clear technical answers for all of my questions. There wasn't any upselling or bs, just extremely helpful questions and detailed answers to my own questions so that I could decide what the best build for me would be.
There were a few minor issues which came up with my build, however every time this was surfaced to Puget they went above and beyond to address my concerns. While Puget definitely charges a premium for their builds, in my opinion it's worth every penny. I consider myself generally frugal, although like to make sure that I get high performing tech and I try to get my best bang for the buck. Coming from past experience building my own systems and buying from other top tier custom builders, there is no doubt in my mind that Puget is hands down the best option if you can afford it.
My Serenity Pro is silent as a mouse and blazing fast! Very clean cabling an well thought out building. All my future builds will be from Puget as long as they maintain their level of quality and service, 10/10 would purchase again! "
"I had a great experience building a custom graphics workstation. The customer representatives and technicians were very responsive, answered all my questions quickly, knowledgeably and honestly, and then got to work and built me a blazing fast (and very quiet) workstation. Couldn't be happier."
"Below was my original review--Three months later I am still as pleased as I was with it after only a few weeks--this is a great company!!!!
I learned about Puget Systems in a Google search for someplace that would custom build me a powerful, and QUIET computer. Puget looked more professional and straightforward, so I went with them. That was the right choice!
Some background: Several years ago I assembled a computer on my own, but I was really naive-- all the references and guidance I accessed emphasized that cooling was very important. Okay, so I followed that advice and put in five or 6 high speed fans. You can imagine what happened: The computer worked just fine, but it sounded like a damned vacuum cleaner!!!! So I wanted a quiet computer.
My Serenity is VERY quiet-- the only way I can tell that it's turned on is by looking at the blue LED.
I dealt with William on the phone. He was knowledgeable and professional, answering every one of my questions. I have been impressed by the excellent packing for shipment, and also receiving the box of extra parts that were left over in assembling the case. There have been more indicators of quality (like the loose leaf notebook operations manual for my individual computer) that are too many to list. But I will also mention Puget's website that let me see the the process of filling my order, which included the infrared photos of the operating temperature of the system under different load factors--and also the stress tests after assembly was complete.
And the price was no higher than an equivalent unit from Dell which would not have been as quiet or as individualized for me. Puget is as good as it gets!!

"When I was looking into buying a computer, my first thought was a mac. I had been using a macbook pro retina 13" 2015 edition and I had loved the experience, but as a film maker, the pull to 4k footage was growing and my need for a powerhouse desktop grew with it. Like many people who found Puget, I was considering the Mac pro. The price was ridiculous for a computer that is dated in technology by nearly 4 years. I run an independent company, and I can't afford to waste my money on something that won't last. So I set out to build my own computer, and found Puget systems on the way. I could have built my own computer, and I could have done it for less, but the customer service and quality assurance I received from them was out of this world. I received stellar advice from their customer service rep, and was able to spend about the same as the Mac on a computer nearly 3 times as powerful. I received it in beautifully utilitarian packaging, and began by immediately pushing on its work load capacity only to find that I wasn't even causing it to break a sweat. This computer is a monster. I can't express how good it feels to buy something worth its value, and I can't express how great it is to form a relationship with a company that I will most likely use for the rest of my life. "
"Puget Systems advertised quiet and they delivered. The Serenity model is well-named. It is a joy to work on and I couldn't be happier! I work best in a quiet environment, but I also game on my work computer. I needed a quiet powerhouse and Puget Systems built it. During long MMORPG gaming sessions, I can hear the soft whisper of the fan, but it has no whine or obnoxious tones. When I'm working with lighter loads, the fan is silent. This was my first computer from Puget Systems. I found them from an online review about quiet computers and I was a bit nervous, but the sales staff was very helpful and patient. I haven't had to use support, since the computer came with easy set up instructions and worked perfectly out of the box. I waited to write this review because I couldn't believe how well everything was going. I wanted to see how things worked several months down the road. Now I recommend Puget Systems to my friends and family and will use them again whenever I need a new computer or component."
"In the past, I was always frustrated by the many offerings at various computer manufacturers. The manufacturers provide data, but it is hard to tell which computer will be faster.
But at Puget Systems, I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was. I did not see hundreds of systems offered, or even 20 systems. What I saw at Puget Systems was an offering of two laptops. And checking the specs, I saw that these are up-to-date and top-of-the-line laptops, which you can customize. You select how much disk space you need, and what kind of drive you want. You select all the customize-able features.
The USB ports are fixed at 3 USB 3.0 ports. This turns out to be the right number for me. I can plug in my daskeyboard keyboard directly into the laptop. And I can plug my Wacom Intuos Pen Tablet directly into the laptop. These are the only things I want plugged DIRECTLY into the laptop. Then, I have the third USB port to plug in my USB 3.0 hub. The hub gives me as many more UBS ports I want. And USB ports don't cost much at all.
As if the ease of finding which of all the offerings is the best for my needs was not easy enough, Puget Systems has a pro-active representative offer help in understanding the offerings and selecting the customizations. I benefited from the representative's help. His advice steered me to a Puget laptop that was the best for my needs, and was actually less expensive than the one I was going to buy. The representative showed he was concerned that I get the best for my needs which is not always the most expensive.
I thank Puget Systems for only offering superior systems and for caring that I get a system that is best suitable for my needs. And indeed, the laptop I received has exceeded my expectations."
"My custom configured laptop came not only with the "Concise User's Guide" but also a loose leaf binder full of benchmarks for my rig, tips on setting up the rig, importing data from the old computer and even a thumb drive for recovery. The binder also included links to more exhaustive articles on everything from importing data to tips on optimizing performance. The laptop is performing to my expectations, much faster and more capacious than my old laptop. Customer Service and outreach is knowledgeable, approachable and patient. Frankly, you probably won't chose Puget Systems on the basis of price, they are more expensive than many. However, their customization parameters, are VERY extensive, and the PS staff are not only knowledgeable but friendly, courteous and available. If you take advantage of their expertise you won't be disappointed with your new rig."
"Very good product. Customer service is good too. "
"I travel a fair amount and use my "Home PC" for a lot of work related apps. Ordered a PS system with excellent pre-purchase advice from the Service adviser that contacted me ... but, then had to leave for Africa. Boxes had arrived when I got back. There are a lot of things that don't work in Congo and what a great surprise to find that everything I had ordered from Puget worked absolutely great, right out of the box. "Absolutely great" is an understatement -- the machine is sound, well constructed, and wickedly fast compared to the old hp it is replacing. I had selected Puget based on good reviews and am happy to add some re-enforcement. It's a very good company and less expensive than their competition."
"I did a lot of research before deciding on Puget Systems. I looked at all their competitors and did price comparisons as well as what they had to offer on their website. I also looked at the type of cases they use. Most of the competitors are geared toward the gaming industry, and nothing wrong with that, but that wasn't what I was needing.
They are not pushy and they have a very unique process of what they do and keep the customer updated with the entire build process. You can follow along as the computer is built and they keep you updated with email notifications. They show you all the steps they take in the process and who does it. They have very helpful articles and information regarding hardware and software products. They are very helpful in answering questions. They are indeed a very unique company that is getting harder to find these days.
They just do a great job from start to finish. They don't just take your money and forget about you. I have had follow up emails from them. My system is a Genesis 1 system and I have Windows 10 Pro, Intel Core i7-6900K CPU, 64 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 video card, three drives with two being SSD drives, so much faster! It's an impressive computer! As of this posting, I still haven't found out the full potential of it's processing power nor the rendering ability of videos with this system.
I have had a few issues with some software not working correctly but that isn't Puget Systems fault that is software companies that haven't yet updated their software to comply more with Windows 10 and to work with 4K monitors.
It is the most I have ever spent on a computer but hope that it lasts me many years with minimal upgrades along the way.
I don't have any cons. Some may say that because they don't offer financing is a con. Well, I don't see that as a con. You can pay with a credit card or PayPal and some other options. https://www.pugetsystems.com/payments.php
They are not a finance company, they build computers. For me that was a pro, not a con.
Puget Systems is #1! I am very happy with the computer and with their outstanding customer service! If you are looking for a custom built computer, give these guys a try. You won't be disappointed! And a special shout out to all those that made this possible - Thanks very much to William George, Jeff Stubbers, Jessica Denoff, Houston Bennett, Kyle Polen, Richard Harmon, Stephanie Bramer, and to Jon Bach for starting the company, and to Scott Denoff and Christopher Crader for the follow up, and to everyone else there. Keep up the great work! Thanks to all of you there at Puget Systems and for what you do!
(To all that read this, I was not paid nor given any special offers to post this review.)"
"My custom built computer that I use in my home office died. The company that built it 6 years ago no longer builds computers. After some serious online research and speaking with the people at Puget I asked them to build my next computer. They were very good to work with and took a generous amount of time to learn what I needed for my photography business. I am happy with their work. My new computer is very fast. Puget responded to my question about some prewired cables immediately. So far I am very satisfied and think Puget will remain in business for years to come."
"Everything about ordering from Puget Systems was superior, the recommendations based on my requirements, the updates as they built and tested it, the shipping materials, the documentation, the lifetime support and of course the actual quality product designed to be trouble free. They strive to be the best and they succeed. Very pleased!"
"Since I spend so much of my time in front of a PC I decided the next PC I got would have as few compromises as possible. I searched all the usual places like Dell, HP, and Amazon and couldn't find anything that exactly met my needs. There was always some compromises. Some had features I didn't need and others were missing important features. One feature I really wanted was quietness.
I then stumbled upon Puget Systems. I ended up with the Puget Serenity. I could specify the exact CPU, RAM, primary and secondary storage, and graphics card I wanted. Once I configured my system I was contacted by Puget Systems where they asked me questions in order to find out how I would be using my system. They wanted to be sure the system would meet my needs now and in the future.
Once I placed my order I could logon to their website and track the building progress, right down to who was doing the assembling and who was doing the testing. I could even download pictures showing thermal images of the system at idle and maximum load which showed that Puget had done their homework in keeping heat under control.
I have now had my Puget Serenity for two weeks and couldn't be happier. It ended up costing a little more than the big PC manufactures but I got exactly what I wanted without any compromises. Given the amount of time I spend in front of the PC it was money well spent."
