"Before Ordering:

I had saved some quotes on some builds I was looking to purchase in December and one of Puget's followed up with me to see if I had any questions. William was very helpful in deciding between certain components for my needs and also gave suggestions to help me save a couple hundred dollars. He also made a note for the people building the PC to prewire the build for an additional video card and some additional hard drives, so upgraded will be less of a headache for me.

After Ordering:

I loved the fact that I could track the build of my PC and look at the results of the different tests and benchmarks that they were running. I really felt that conveyed both an attention to detail and quality assurance.

PC arrived:

The PC arrived in January of this year, and I was very please with the packaging. I was worried that things might shake loose during shipping but the packing was immaculate and everything worked perfectly. The documentation binder is probably the most thorough I've ever seen. They even sent me a thank you card several months later.

I've spent about half a year with this PC and it has been a Joy. I haven't had to deal with any issues, so I can't really comment on the post-sale customer service, but if every other aspect of their operation is any indication, I feel like I will be in good hands. They definitely earned a repeat customer."

"I came across Puget Computers by chance as I was looking for different computer parts to build my own. I decided to give them a call, and talked with William. I know computers, and usually build my own, but being a physician I have trouble keeping up with the newer stuff, like M.2 and U.2, SSD etc but I quickly got up to date, and talking to William I realize he knew what worked and what was not so good in my hi speed system for video editing and Photoshop. Price:
I could not match my configuration exactly when comparing against other vendors, but I compared against a base configuration that was attainable. Puget's price point was compelling when comparing against all the top rated competitors in the market.

Communication:
Emails were answered in a timely manner. When the support team knew what I wanted they made adjustments that made my purchase convenient without any prompting. I asked more than one question or should I say I sent multiple separate emails asking a question or two. They are nice to work with. But...

All in all, for me, the one thing I appreciated the most was that they lived up to their own hype about their service and quality. It is now about 2 weeks since I my pc arrived and was brought online.

"5000 Characters isn't enough to cover what a great product, services and customer counsel Puget offers. In my case I was looking for a beast of a system to handle my video editing and animation needs. I began my consultation with Jeff Stubbers who quickly assessed the programs I was using and adjusted the specs on the system I requested right away. This saved me money on some components that were deemed unnecessary (multi core and multi cpu setups can actually run slower with programs that are not written to work with them) and meant that I had to include some components I had not considered.
Ultimately my system is exactly what I need - just really, really, fast and powerful.
Puget has always had the reputation of being the smart custom builder for "Smart" people. I've been working on computers since 1980, which is all of my life from childhood on, so although I'm no novice, the constant evolution of the technology, from hardware to software means that none of us who work for a living can stay on top of all of these changes especially regarding compatibility.
So save yourself the headache - get a system built exactly the way want and need it, with no dumb proprietary apps or components rammed in.
I'd wanted to work with Puget on creating a system for years, but always went with "cheaper" options thinking I was making a more prudent decision. I'd ask you how prudent is it to save some money if you're not getting what you paid for, and a lot of junk you didn't want?

"This is the second Puget Custom Computer that I helped order. The first one was for me personally and the experience was THE best I've had when purchasing a computer. I was so geeked up about it that I insisted that my spouse purchase one for her tax and financial business. The ordering was smooth after consulting with staff about what we would need (in this case a RAID 1 configured unit with an SSD hard drive). We placed the order, received the unit in record time (well packed for shipping) and it included the requisite information on this unit. However, given when we placed the order in relation to the real world business situation, we were forced to wait for several weeks before we could make the transition to the new unit. We we fired it up it worked great. However, we are having a few issues with what may be the video card and connection issues to the internet (where there were none with the older unit). We imagine (and hope) that the solution is not a major issue. Their customer service/technicians are attentive and offered initial solutions. We will continue to work with them until these issues are resolved. The unit itself is great looking, virtually silent and very fast.
