Guaranteed 9AM package was NOT delivered

"I prepared a package delivery level yesterday for "10.30am Guaranteed Delivery". I went to a local Purolator office and asked a customer service. He said it will be 90 minutes delay. Then, I created another "9am Guaranteed Delivery". My package has 12pm deadline today. It will not be delivered until tomorrow. My package has missed the DEADLINE. "

Worst company in existence - avoid at all costs

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - if you want to actually receive your delivery, that is. Absolutely THE WORST company I've ever dealt with. Going on 7 days for a one-day delivery and I'm not set to have my package anytime in the near future. They left my package in a city I don't even live in, and then rather than re-routing it to a depot three blocks away, they just continue to drive it around the city of Toronto (for fun, I guess). There are 13 entries in on my tracking page for a one day delivery. Meanwhile, there seems to be a plethora of logical solutions that not one of the many reps I've spoken to can seem to execute. I've never been more disappointed and infuriated with a company in all of my existence. STEER CLEAR."

never leave notice

"the driver never left notice. I called the customer services trying to complain, the lady was so rude. She said you should always ask your sender to provide the tracking #, and track it online. It's not our fault that you dont have the tracking #. I was just asking the driver to leave a notice so that i won't leave the package at the office for days without awarenesz. Is it that hard to leave a note? if I can rate 0, i wouldnt give 1 star at all."

I will never use them again!

"I've use Purolator once and I will never use it again.

I called before I shipped them out and was told that I would only need one waybill because the boxes were all going to the same address.So, I shipped out the four boxes. 2 big and 2 on the smaller side. Three days later I get a call from them saying that each box needed its own waybill (I
informed them that I was told only one but they didnt care I was getting different information from different departments of the same company...) and that I needed to fill out a Unaccompanied Goods form for customs. The form was the most confusing form every. They don't have people trained to help customers with these confusing form. Then they revealed to me that they only had 2 of my boxes there and couldn't find the smaller two.

So, after a week of struggling to figure out this form I was told to just fill it out for the 2 big boxes because they found the smaller boxes and they had already made it past the boarder. When asked why the boxes were separated they couldn't give me an answer. Annoying but all good right/ Nope...

I arrived in America for my visit and I checked over my boxes and the smaller of the 4 boxes were still no where to be found and the 2 big boxes were completely destroyed. I had a ceramic elephant that wasn't just broken it was shattered. I had a lamp that was broken...a knife set holder had been broken... everything in those boxes I had to get rid of.

But to get any money for it you need receipts. If you've had items for years you wouldn't have receipts and that's where they get you. They get away with bad service and destroying boxes and losing boxes because they know there's a 90% chance you wont have any receipts.

I will never use this company again and I really hope they go under for their bad service.

They still can't locate my boxes... -.-

Should be zero stars!

"I use a service from my pharmacy to deliver medicine to my home. I live in a condo which has a concierge to receive packages for pickup and no one is home during the day. I have critical medicine to be delivered for my daughter and no matter what I do, Purolator will not deliver the medicine. I've spend so long on the phone with them, and so has the pharmacy. It's been a week now. They simply will not deliver unless I'm physically there to sign, no matter how many times both the pharmacy and I instruct them to deliver to the concierge. One operator I spoke to read back to me what she wrote. Her instructions said AT LEAST 4 TIMES to leave the medicine with the concierge, yet they won't do it. I've read the reviews on this site and on 2 others. It's all the same. This company seems to be universally hated by everyone that uses them. It's unbelievable how they're still in business."

HAVE NOT GONE OUT FOR 5 YEARS .BUT I WAS NOT HOME WHEN THEY DELIVERED!!!

"July 10th , My home care was here at 845am . The lab came at 930 to take my blood I'm in a wheelchair and have 1 leg and 1/2 of a pelvis as well suffering from chronic pain. I have 2 dogs who goes nuts when someone to the door and knocks or rings the bell. I have tried to call all day it is now 2:47 ,I also sent an e-mail HOW IS THIS COMPANY (I USE THE TERM VERY LOOSELY) STILL OPERATING. I am going to tell every person and company that I deal with I will not purchase anything from them, if they use this absolutely useless so called delivery NON SERVICE."

PUROLATOR **** AND SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS

"I was waiting for a package with urgency and made arrangements to be at home to receive it. But it never came and 1 hour after the fact, I receive a notification that an attempt was made but "unable to deliver due to labor disruption". Yet when I was tracking throughout the day, there was a message saying "delayed due to weather conditions". It's summer and sunny and I don't understand how this can impact delivery in any way. Then I tried to call Purolator and they were closed. So I listened to what the tracking status was on the phone, and there it said that "Receiver was not available". This is all bull crap. They use whatever excuse; I don't even know why they bother hiring drivers when they don't even deliver. Then I went on live chat hoping to understand this better and the agent was completely useless. She referred to the "Labor disruption" status, which I asked her to explain, and she said that there must be a strike going on and the drivers do not cross a picket line. I told her that there is no such thing going on here and maybe it might be the construction in front of my place and she said "that must be it". So then I said, if that is the case, even at the next delivery attempt, I will not get my package and for that matter, I will not get it until the construction is over. She just kept repeating they will make another attempt next business day. I had asked to change the shipment to pick-up instead, and she kept saying that she will request it but will not know if that is will happen and I need to wait for a call from the depot. I wanted to see what my options were, as I cannot have this delayed any further, but she just kept going in circles and not really answering my questions at all. And then when I asked for a copy of the transcript, the reason for it was to keep a record of her saying that she will request for pickup, she became defensive and snarky. And at the end of the chat, she just shut off without saying thank you or goodbye or asking me if there was anything else I needed. This company is a sham and if Amazon keep using them as courier, I will not order from them again."

"They don't deliver package. Even though my package had address mentioned, they didn't even try to attempt and left the note at door. They simply updated their website, mentioning address is not valid - entry code is not provided. "

It’s a pick up company not delivery.

"I only encountered 3 times with purolator delivery. First time never came, had to pick it up. Second and third time (I learned and remind them to come while waiting on my balcony all day) delayed because of sorting error and weather excuse for expensive prime delivery."

This package sat at a depot in for 2 weeks.

"This package sat at a depot in Penticton for 2 weeks. I do not live it Penticton and I cannot pick up the package there. I made this very clear to the person at the depot in Penticton on December 29th. I specifically told them that I wanted the package delivered to my house and I made sure they had the correct address. 2 weeks later they still had not delivered it. Furthermore, I spoke with Melisa L on a Purolator chat line on January 10th. She told me the package would be delivered on the 11th. The package was not delivered and the tracking report said it was due to weather. This is the same excuse used 2 weeks earlier. The weather had been very mild for the last 2 weeks. On January 11th there was a temperature of -4 C and light snow. This can be confirmed by Environment Canada. The roads are plowed every day and have been very good. For Purolator to claim a delay due to weather, not once, but twice is nothing but a pure lie. In the end I told them to send it back. They never did deliver the package. How can such a company stay in business?"

Worst service ever

"This company must go out of its way to find the worst people on the planet to make deliveries. Don't raven try. Allways ask for apt # and say undeliverable. I do not live in an apartment! They don't eaven try! Then send my packages to a depot 7 hours away from the town I live in."

They would have to improve their service to attain a rating of Incompetent

"An absolute joke as far as reliability! They, unlike FedEx and UPS, don't provide their drivers with either GPS units or cell phones to assist when further directions are required. I paid for two day delivery and the driver couldn't find a simple street address. Now their online chat line agent says it will be another week before they can attempt delivery again.
Don't use Purolator if you have any hope of having your package delivered expeditiously!

"I called to ask about my shipment, they return it back to the shipper without leaving any note, label or any attempt to call my phone number.
I tried to escalate the issue to the supervisor, but she said “this is what we do & feel free to contact our CEO”.

Worst courrier service! Avoid at all costs

"Giving one star because it is the minimum. Otherwise, would give zero.

Avoid this company at all costs. Amazon, if you read this, move away from this company as a partner. It looks bad for you. Their drivers are scammers, saying "attempted delivery" and never getting out of their trucks. Same as so many other reviewers, I am waiting for a package since yesterday with the "Attempted Delivery" excuse. Home all day, no knock at the door. I have sent Purolator a complaint by email today. I plan on sending a complaint to Amazon as well. They should be aware of the problems that Purolator causes for their clients. There are never or rarely issues with Canada Post or any other courrier service. I hope it's only a matter of time before Amazon and others come to their senses and stop using this horrible, distrustful company. A quick Google search will show the same complaints again and again. I will never, ever use Purolator by choice. Ever. And I recommend you do the same.

Worst ever! Don't use Purolator!

"Ordered from Amazon Prime, delivery was scheduled for 2nd of June. I receive an email on the 1st saying there was an attempt to deliver; they left a location for a pick up that's far from my location which defies the whole purpose. I call and demand a delivery, and they say after 3 days. I requested a call or an email before the delivery with the expected time. On the said day, I call their customer service, and I'm told that they can't locate my package, call again tomorrow. Instead, I called Amazon, and after being on hold for a very very long time I'm told that it will be delivered the next day, It was already 5 pm, so I left. At 5:25 I get a call from my buzzer from a rude guy, I tell him that I'm not home and he can leave it in front of my apartment. I rush home to find a paper saying "we missed you" and again with a location for a pick up that is far from my place. They expect to deliver at any time and any day, and we be there waiting for them? Then say "we missed you". I still didn't get my package, but at this point, I'm done with the calls, holds, and rudeness, but what to do. Worst service ever from both Amazon and Purolator. I wish I can give a negative rating to express my frustration. I already unsubscribed from Amazon Prime, what else can I do? "
