Delays and Wrong Part

"Under time pressure, I ordered a handful of parts from RCPW for a Kawasaki engine. Without notice to me, the order was delayed waiting on a part that the website said was in stock when I ordered. I was told that the delayed part should arrive at the warehouse 2 days later. It didn't. After 2 more days of waiting (part still hadn't arrived), I had the parts that were in stock shipped to prevent further delays. When the order arrived, the most important part for my repair was not even close to what I ordered off the web site. I wish that I had gone with one of the bigger parts companies instead of this one. Won't be using them again."

“I took a look into this for you and apologize to hear about your experience with your order. Our website doesn't display “in-stock” information for parts currently and we apologize for any confusion. We suggest giving us a call to verify stock of any items that you need to ensure ship in a certain time frame to verify our current local stock of the item.

I see that you placed a comment on your order that it was a rush order and you needed it shipped immediately. Our shipping department should have seen this comment when processing your order and informed you that due to part availability this order would not be able to ship the same day. I apologize to hear that you did not receive this notification. I spoke with the individual who processed your order to remind them to make sure they are watching customer comments when processing orders. This situation should have been avoided from the beginning by informing you that there were items on your order that were not available in our local warehouse to be shipped the same day.

I took a look into the delay situation from this order for you and it looks like there were a few parts from your order that we had to bring in direct from Kawasaki to fulfill your order because we had ran out of our local inventory of the items. It looks like when our shipping department checked on the availability of these items from Kawasaki they were informed that Kawasaki 49069-2210-9Y was listed as on a temporary backorder at the manufacturer for about 2 business days. It looks like you contacted us on the same day we received this information from Kawasaki and you were informed that we expected these parts to be released to us from the manufacturer in about 2 business days.

It typically takes about 1-2 business days for us to receive parts from Kawasaki. It looks like this order was placed on (05/24/18). It looks like the parts that needed to be brought in from Kawasaki were put on order with Kawasaki on (05/25/18). It looks like the backordered item was released to us from Kawasaki on (05/28/18). The other items we ran out of our local inventory of were also released to us earlier in the day on (05/28/18). The items that were needed to fulfill our local stock were received earlier in the day on (05/31/18) and were shipped to you as soon as we received them. Per your request the backordered item was shipped out separately as soon as it was received later in the day on (05/31/18). This is our typical backorder / fulfilment of items that we run out of our local inventory of.

Again we apologize that you were not informed about some of these items not being available in our local warehouse inventory to ship out the same day and can see how this caused an unexpected delay issue.
As for the part you received that was incorrect. I checked with our shipping department as well as our returns department and we didn’t receive a call or email about a part that was received incorrectly. These issues happen on occasion and we are more than happy to help get you the correct item from your order and figure out how you received the incorrect item. Please send us a message with more information about the incorrect part that you received and we can get that issue resolved for you as quickly as possible.

Again we apologize to hear about your first experience placing an order with us and are here to help resolve any issues you have any way we can.
