sear on-line is a fuc** scam. FAKE free delivery and dates to get your money!

"I spend an HOUR on the screwed up Sears on-line website. It took 30 minutes to process b/c their site just crawled. Sears OL would give an estimated total and say delivery is FREE and fast delivery.. but IT IS ALL FAKE. IT IS FAKE ADVERTISING.

FTC SHOULD FINE/SUE THEM!! It turns out Sears OL does not deliverer for FREE, YET it is advertised as such. The anticipated delivery date analyzed by their stupid web site is also FALSE!. You will never know the actual date because the Rep, who is "English-challenged" on top of that, SAYS IT DEPENDS ON THE MANUFACTURER . YET sears continues to use deceptive advertising gimmicks to con the consumer! The delivery dates per this dummy REP were all verbally denounced. In others words, none of the dates there are a guaranteed! I get it BUT DON'T LIST IT AS A ATTRIBUTE TO BUY WHEN IT IS ALL LIES. I HOPE SEARS GOES BANKRUPT B/C THEY ARE SUCH CROOKS. She wasn't even apologetic about it.... just a matter of fact.. and last... THANK YOU FOR CALLING SEARS.. you .. @$s witch!

Horrible Customer Service

"In October I ordered a GE upright freezer from Sears online. The expected delivery date was in November, and I knew it would be delayed due to COVID so I expected it around December. I recieved several notifications via email that it was delayed, delayed, and delayed again until December 10th when I recieved another notification that my delivery status had changed. I looked online and noticed that the status had changed to "delivered" on December 16th. This was on December 10th so I was concerned. At this point I had already spent hours on the phone with the delivery team between November and December 10th, but because the status had changed to delivered on a future date, I figured I should call again to see what the status actually was since I had obviously not recieved my freezer. The first call was a waste of time. I was told they would have to look into it with the warehouse, and that they would call me back in a few hours. They never did so a week later I called again. This time they told me that it had shipped and was delivered to a store, but could not tell me what store. Again I was told they would reach out to me via email this time within 24-48 hours. They never did. I chated with their online support to no avail, sent several emails receiving the same answer that I would have to contact the do nothing delivery team. After a dozen calls, several emails, blowing up their FB page and wondering if I had been scammed, I was finally told that my freezer was delivered to this store in Effingham. I drove the 45 minutes to the store resolved to not leave without either my freezer or some answers.

When I got to the store I was pretty frustrated and I'm sure that despite my best efforts, some of that anger and frustration leaked out towards the staff. I told them I was there to pick up my GE Freezer. They informed me that they did not have any GE freezers, and hadn't for at least six months. I told them to double check and to call whomever they needed since the delivery team told me it had been delivered to that location. The owner took me to the back and showed me that he had no record of my order, and the only thing he could see was that I had indeed purchased one. I called the delivery team back and informed them that I was at the store and it was not there. That's when the delivery team told me that it hadn't shipped at all, and in fact it would not ship January 15th! I told them I wanted a refund, but they said I would have to work that through the store because their system was not updated? I purchased this online, the store had nothing to do with it so I said that wouldn't work and I wanted a refund now. They said again that I would have to call back in 24-48 hours, a running theme for the online "customer support".

This is where the owner stepped up to the plate and made right the mistakes of so many online "customer support" representatives. Bottom line, don't order online from Sears. Just go to a local store for your purchasing needs.

Delivery Date?!?!

"I have been a Sears customer for most of my life. My husband and I owned a Sears Hometown Store for over 18 years. Purchased a washer and dryer that was to be delivered yesterday 12/21/2020. I contacted Sears and they said was out for delivery. Waited until 9:00pm as they ask and no delivery. Contacted Sears this morning and they said it had been delayed from the warehouse. But only after I contacted them. I had my husband take the day off, move my old washer and dryer then just waited all day. All they could offer was sorry but it is late from the manufacturer. I will never order from them again as this is why they are going under. Beware!!!"

"bought 3 Samsung appliances- plus three warranties at 500 per-ny state has a lemon law-but what I didnt know is that the repair company is owned by sears and kept saying the ref could be repaired they were at my house at least 11 times the last time their idea of fixing it was to leave it unplugged-- for three days they do nothing and its a sham seems sears is making money from this and the repair company refuses to write off on replacement which I might add is against ny law- its a shame to see what dishonest people can do to a once good company- and also I should have checked out a&e repair they have horrible review both from customers and from former employees as being dishonest---I will add that in 2010 I bought one ref a Kenmore that nearly burned my house down that lasted 3 years and the samsung was a nightmare from the start if I had researched it would have seen over 2 thousand complaint about the same issue-- over the years before sears became what led to its downfall I had purchased tires batteries dehumidifiers tools lawnmowers tvs and records radios many washing machines air conditioners- blankets and other bedding I can go on and on so did my parents going way back to the Portland Maine store-so I was not a new customer-I bought another ref in 2017- a ge from another place that to lacks the quality of the past-+the ref bough after sandy stoare passed out in june of 2017"

The worst costumer service, worst quality

"I placed an order for a TV table at Nov 28th, I received at Dec 7th and I realized there are 16 pieces screws missing. I called Sears and they send email to seller and requested them to send missing parts. They send me 14 screws at Dec 16. After 19 days that I ordered the product, still couldn't use it because they sent me 2 screws less. There are no one responsible. Neither seller nor Sears. I will never purchase anything from Sears and Decoratika."

BAD COMPANY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

"Several years ago I purchased a new Sears Kenmore washing machine and dryer. Both had problems from the start. The balance on the washer would buzz and the machine would turn off. The dryer had a loud and annoying screech. I continually called the Sears service department. It was under warranty. After three years the laundry room filled with water from a cheap water dispenser under the machine which was as thin as a plastic milk carton. It was replaced along with the knuckle bushing... the busing was replaced several times. On two occasions the Sears service rep. said that the machines should have never been released to the public. They were always breaking down and he spent most of his time repairing them. After the warranty expired, I was asked by Sears if I would like to renew. I declined and put my machines on the street for pick up. Unfortunately, Sears has lost its customer loyalty from poor products and management. I have never purchased another Sears product since this really bad experience. When Sears finally goes under, I will not miss them at all. No wonder 88% of people give negative reviews. I am not at all surprised!"

This isn't the Sears you used to know

"Ordering a Whirlpool refrigerator online as ours went out paid the extra $10 $30 for a pick up was supposed to be delivered in a few days on a Saturday got an auto text stating there was a issue with the delivery and it would be delivered on Saturday does that make any sense got another auto respond call that you can't talk to a person you just have to call back in what kind of system is that.
Making a long story short of course they didn't have the product and we can't wait 15 days for to come in so then they tried to tell me that they will give me my money back in 30 to 60 days lol

Cancel get directly with the credit card company and will never do business with what used to be a fabulous company again

Unprofessional and horrible customer service

"have a home warranty through choice warranty and am in need of a dish washer repair. We received an email stating that a repairman would was scheduled for 8-12 today. The repairman never showed but sent an email saying that he had. We found that he went to the wrong address and tried to call him several times to let him know. He returns the call an hour later saying he was in Greensburg and may or may not come back around 3. I asked if he could give me a more definitive answer since it was his fault he went to the wrong address and he said he would see if another person was available and call me back around 1. I never got a call back. The customer service at sears didn't even reschedule. We had to contact our warranty company to try to get a different company. Smh. So unprofessional. I will never use Sears for any of my repair needs or shopping.

Run away from doing business with Sears - Fast!

"My company has been selling on the Sears Marketplace for about 7 years. Sears owes us approximately $1,100 for sales that we have made and they have not paid us for them. We have been trying to resolve the issue with them since February but their Customer Support (ha!) only responds saying that they have forwarded our information to the appropriate department for review and then no one ever contacts us. It has been going on for over 4 months. We have contacted them at least a dozen times and get the same answer. There is no phone # to call and they will not give a phone # to us to call them. We fulfilled our end of the contract and they are keeping our money. Run from doing any kind of business with this company - fast!"

Corrupt company do not ever order from them

"We ordered an item online, it was delivered broken. In writing they promised to deliver a replacement and pick up broken item. They broke their promise and would not help in any manner, including a refund or discount. They claimed we had to drive over an hour to return it back to the store. We ended up having to dispute the charge through our credit card company and won after months of waiting. A complete scam, would NEVER order from them again. They were the least helpful company we have ever worked with. "

Horrible Experience

I'm not surprised at the low rating of this company. I would like to give it a negative rating if there is one. The compressor of my Kenmore Elite died on us after 7 years in service in early March. It has a ten year warranty so we scheduled services with Sears' A&E Factory Service. The 1st Technician diagnosed the problem and ordered parts in mid-March. We patiently waited for the next technician to install the parts which was scheduled on 4/3. Before the appointment, I contacted the Sears Customer Service to inquire about safety guidelines. I was told they have strict safety measures in place and technicians will wear masks and gloves and disinfect. I asked if it would help if I moved the refrigerator to the foyer which is more accessible and roomy and maybe the technician can even work from the porch. The customer service rep. said it was a brilliant idea and Sears technicians are trained to repair under circumstances like this. If he refuses services, I can call customer services. When technician Anslem showed up on 4/3, he was wearing no mask or gloves. When he saw the refrigerator in the foyer, he refused the service, citing he couldn’t work under this circumstance. We asked him to wait till we called the customer services. He wouldn’t and simply walked away. We called the Sears Customer Service and they apologized profusely but couldn’t help. I also called A&E Factory Service ***-***-****) to request to speak to Anslem’s supervisor. It was no good because she simply stayed silent on the other end most of the time. We had to wait for another 20 days for the next appointment on 4/23. I explained the situation to both the Sears and A&E and was assured notes were taken and this won’t happen again. On 4/23 Anslem showed up again even though we said we didn’t’ want him back. Again he had no mask or gloves. He said there was no communication between Sears Customer Services and the field workers so he didn’t know what they told us; He said he couldn’t do the repair in the foyer because he needed to diagnose the problem. We told him his co-worker already did the diagnosis. He then questioned why the back panel was taken off etc. and we told him his co-worker did it. He then called his supervisor and said he couldn’t fix it. We asked why he came if he couldn’t fix it since he was here before and knew the problem. He said he forgot he came here before. We asked to speak to his supervisor which he refused and told us to call the 800 number instead. He then walked away! Now we had to wait for another 20 days for the next appointment to happen on 5/14. We are really appalled by this kind of ruthless services. We've been stuck with this broken refrigerator for over two months while Covid-19 is going on. Instead of being empathetic and helpful, Sears contractors like Anslem seems to enjoying revenging on their customers if they complain. I’ll never buy anything from Sears again. Technicians like Anslem is pulling Sears down and they seem to be able to get away from it. Customer’s concerns and complaints seem to get nowhere! I have to say people at the Sears customer services are great and empathetic, but can’t really help. People at the A&E Factory Service ***-***-****) are unprofessional and unhelpful. There is no management at its Richmond, VA site – its new supervisor seemed to have no control over her employees.

Update: Today (5/14) is our new appointment date. The technician never showed up. We then saw the message accusing us working on the refrigerator which invalidates the warranty. Unbelievable! The first technician worked on the refrigerator and diagnosed the problem. The 2nd technician walked away on us twice. On the 3rd appointment day, they simply invalidated the warranty by accusing us for working on the refrigerator! They made us wait for over two months during the pandemic, only to invalidate our warranty. That’s how Sears mistreat their customers and cheat them out their warranty. Don't do any business with this company!

Terrible Customer Service

"Their "Marketplace Guaranteed" is a scam. False advertising. I've been having issues with a seller of theirs who promises a warranty on their products but expects the customer to pay return shipping and to send the item back, meanwhile doesn't acknowledge any concerns brought to their attention. When I contacted Sears to express my frustration with the seller, they did nothing to resolve the issue rather just complicated things more. Subpar customer service at best. If you're thinking about shopping here, look elsewhere."
