"Purchased a terrarium from the marketplace and I’m so upset. Purchased a stand, heating supplies and decor before hand for a new reptile I’m getting. Tank comes in today, however it isn’t a tank. It’s a letter saying my order is backlogged for weeks. Why they sent me a letter to tell me this is upsetting. My skink comes in soon and now I have no cage ready like I was expecting to have. On a strict budget and I’m extremely emotional over this. I wish they told me from the beginning, wouldn’t have ordered it "
"ordered Bose headphones and order was being fulfilled by Tofino jewelry. Sears emailed me and said it delivered after two weeks. However, when i got home it was a letter from Tofino stating they were backordered and the postage was printed 10 days ago, meaning Tofino knew this 10 days ago. Why Tofino would snail mail me a letter and not email me is beyond my understanding and you can only imagine the disappointment when you get a letter and not your package. I cancelled my order and guaranteed the Sears represenative, this will never happen again. Wish there was a 0 star rating"
"I had a fifty dollar gift card which turned into 300+ in merchandise from their incompetence. Ordered a nice pillow( down right around 50 bucks) and instead recieved a kitchenaid stand mixer! I called customer support( wad on hold for nearly an hour) and got a refund. Went back online to repurchase the pillow but found this time it was going to cost more than the gift card for the same exact order! So I was annoyed but instead bought a cheaper pillow and other items on clearance to use the rest of the card. One item I purchased was a candle on clearance for around 3 dollars. Well today my order arrived and everything was there except for the candle which had been replaced by a 108 piece craftsman tool set worth 75 bucks. In conclusion the online store is trash but id say try your luck on some cheap stuff and you might just make them pay for their incompetence lol."
"For two days could not get threw to customer service two ask 2 simple questions, that their automatic phone services could not answer. After that they finally contacted me for a delivery, and I was treated very rudely and like garbage.
No matter what kind of deal they offer me, I'll never again shop sears online again. No wonder why sears closed all their brick stores. Will not be surprised that their online services will soon be out of bussiness."
"This is the second time I have accidentally ordered something that was a third party marketplace on sears.com. I will NEVER again order anything that is not in actually sears. You ALWAYS pay more to ship it back if there is something wrong with it or it wasn't what you thought. You go thru hoops to return it and you should just keep it because it costs more to return it and you don't get your shipping back. Sears DOES NOT BACK you up like Amazon does and The service people (if you understand them), just continue to repeat ":we are here to help you" but they don't. NEVER AGAIN ORDER FROM SEARS!!"
"Bought dining table from sears online which is sold by 3rd party seller. Before I make a purchase Spoke with representative regarding shipping details.I was told this if you don't satisfy with the item, it is eligible for free returns.
After I received item I Don't like the quality for what I have paid which around 600 bucks. I wanted to return,after I made so many chats and so many customer service calls, finally they said sorry for the wrong information provided, this time you need pay for shipping charge, which is most costly than purchase cost :("
"Excellent products, have kenmore elite 15 years washer and dryer perfect only service was Years ago washer panel it was in warranty at the time. I can’t believe the pricing right now for kenmore elite. I broke the washer door so I though time to just get new since machines older and the new options I wanted with the new products. OMG more then 50% off similar high end and the pedestals I have but new with so many great options I am going to get the door fixed on the old washer and sell it both washer and dryer I feel will last another 10 to 15 years at least. Well, I need to say the delivery service was the best ever. The deliver guys looked over the machines with me before taking in the house confirming no damage. "Words cannot adequately describe how FRUSTRATED and ANGRY I was about my horrible experience with Sears.com. My only solace has been reading over a hundred other reviews that were equally (or more) horrible and knowing I am not alone. The equipment I bought was cheaply made and totally nonfunctional. Honestly, the positive ratings for the power washer HAD TO BE FABRICATED. I was unable to return the item to Sears and was directed to resolve the issue with the company who had advertised the piece of junk on the Sears Marketplace. "If I could give Sears a 0 I would. Ordered a weight set and have an email saying I earned $156 in rewards to spend yet now rewards show up so I call. They are now telling me that my account was suspended becuase I violated some term and condition of the program but they can't tell me which one. This is just there way of getting out of giving me the rewards I earned. I will never buy another thing from this dishonest store. No wonder they are going under. "Sears is literally the worst store ever with the worst customer service!
I placed an order with sears and they only shipped half the items in the box that wasn't even big enough for the original order. It was not a mistake that they didn't ship the complete order because even the UPS personnel could see the box was too small for what should have been delivered.
Customer service refuse to send the missing item, and only refunded part of the purchase price. They force you to repurchase the items they did not send you, so now I've lost money because they will only do a partial refund for their own mistake. After purchasing the missing items, they took away all my shop you way points because now the original order did not meet the requirement, even though the new order is for the same missing item making it the same as the original item.
Basically, Sears will intentionally not ship you items so they can steal money from you.
Trying to call customer service is a joke, they offer no help and hang up on you."
"I ordered a treadmill from SEARS Marketplace. Item was too small for my usage. I have put in close to 30 hrs sending emails, on line chats, and phone calls trying to get treadmill returned. I have been promised several times that I would receive a return label still waiting on label. SEARS Refuses to honor their market place guarantee. DO NOT ORDER OR TRUST SEARS . "Worst.Shopping.Experience.Ever. I bought 2 grey comforters and a package of black socks online. Guess what came in the mail.. a pink throw, a purple throw, and a package of white socks with pastel crap all over it. Such a joke. I called and spoke to India or something and they said they were out of stock of what I ordered. So they just put any random crap in the box?!?!? Oh my freaking god, seriously. "I bougth a washer from Sears and as usual bought the 5-year extended warranty given prior experience with products breaking down (over the years, I bought multiple fridges, washers, dryers, freezers, ovens, diswahsers, etc. from Sears and others and know how low the industry standard has become nowadays).
The washer started leaking. I called Sears and they scheduled a repair appointment. The techinician came and wouldn't touch the unit after he opened it and claimed there were mice droppings inside it. I asked him if the leak was due to mice activity, and he said he didn't know but he declared the unit out of warranty (due to the claimed mice activity) and due to that, he can't do anything with it anymore. I asked him if he can find where the leak is coming from and if it is indeed due to a mouse activity that I'll happily pay for it, but if not, it should be covered by the warranty. He adamantly refused to touch the unit or do anything with it. When I realized that he wasn't going to do anything helpful I asked him to leave. He proceeded to leave without putting the unit back together (left the unit open with wires exposed, screws all over the place). I asked him to put it back together and he still refused repeating his claim that it was out of warranty. He went on to leave and when I tried to stop him from leaving without putting the washer together, he threatened to call the police. He left and my washser is open and I'm now calling someone else to fix it. I believe that after paying hundreds of $$ in warranty, one is entitled to a better service and experience than this. I will never ever again order anything from Sears."
