"I purchased a timeshare through this company and was overall satisfied with the process. We bought a Marriott property and it took 148 days from the time we submitted our offer to when Marriott recognized the change of ownership. Sell My Timeshare told us it would take a long time but I didn't realize it would really be so long. I am familiar with real estate purchases taking about 30 days but this really took more time than I was use to. As a result, we did not get a desired week our first year of usage. Once again, we were told it would take long but I honestly didn't believe it would. Be prepared to wait a long time for the transfer to go through.
The reason they didn't get 5 stars is because the first time they sent over the offer, the purchase price was higher than the advertised price by $1k. They sent over the corrected paperwork the following day and called it an error which is shady. Purchase price is pretty important when buying a timeshare! Read your paperwork and understand it before signing.
The closing company was great. They were available and responsive to me within a timely manner.
