"[Oops]
I might have made a mistake earlier. The product works fine now, and the product they sold me originally could have been fine the first time they shipped it to me, but the product itself only seemed not to work. I apologize for my previous claims.

[Original Post]
They shipped my product fast and I received it 2 days after placing my order (paid for 3 day shipping). Upon receiving my order I tested it out and found that it was defective. Under further inspection the item appears to be used. I put in for an RMA request for a replacement, which is in the process of being approved.

After 5 days I received an Email from them about my RMA and they said they couldn't give me an RMA because they didn't believe it was defective. They pointed me to the TechSupport for the manufacturer and I had to email them to verify it was defective and then forward that email to them. Once I did all the leg work, they did give me an RMA. I have mailed it back and am waiting for a replacement.

I attained an RMA and sent it back to Shentech. After testing to verify that the product was defective, they shipped a replacement at my request. I received the replacement three days later. It seemed as though it was the same one they had sent me, and it seemed to have the same problem upon use, the light flashed and didn't supply power to my laptop. I then left it to write how upset I was to Shentech, after I had sent the email, I returned to my laptop to find that the adapter worked fine.

"Bought the "Visiontek Xtasy Radeon 9100 Pro Video Card", got the confirmation email saying they charged my credit card. I check on my order later and find out they canceled it without any notice. Didn't send me a order cancelation email or anything. I check on their website to see that the price on the card was raised. Very bad business practice in my book. Will not buy from this seller ever again.

Edit 4/7/04: A customer support rep called me back today. She explanied to me the problem with my order. I was quite surprised to hear from them and was satisfied with the explanation she gave me. She told me to give them 2 days to sort out the matter. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait 2 days. I will edit my review to reflect this.

Edit 4/13/04: Shentech reinstated my order, shipped out my card. I received it, like several other people that have bought this card mines came in a Xtasy box with a white AGP sticker over the PCI print. Box had clear circle tape on each end. Card was packed in molded plastic and came with CD and instructions. I was worried to hear that some people received used cards. I inspected mines to find that the GPU fan had dust on it and the card had been screwed in at one time. I popped it into my system and it fired up no problem. So after all this I was still somewhat satisfied with the results. Shentech took awhile to sort out all the orders and they did ship me the card at the original purchased price which by the way was a good deal. Though the card was used it did work.

"I ordered an externam 7-in-1 floppy drive, and got an internal. I tried to get an RMA, but that portion of their site was dead... After complaining, it was repaired and I sent my prodict off. I can't remember exactly how long it took, but somewhere around 3 weeks befor I finally got the correct device. They did not refund the cost of shipping to return it, but didn't charge me to send out the correct device.

I should say what I got was new(still had that new smell and all) but the CD was cracked. The device is perfect, but it does make you wonder what everything goes though there...

"I was shipped a faulty power cable on second day air as my PC was down. I called and they agreed to send out a replacement but only via ground. After a week I called back to find out they never shipped the replacement. They agreed to ship again but again only ground with no concessions for their error. I have my cable but a month late with great aggravation and loss of shipping charges. AVOID THIS RESELLER. IT'S NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS!"

"Bought two Lite-On CDRW drives from Shentech. One was new, the other was used and broken with scratches from an obvious previous install. Attempting to RMA the drive now, but for them to even attempt to sell something used as new gets an immediate bad rating. Steer clear of this seller. They have no respect for customers to do such."

"I ordered a Visiontek MX 420 AGP card way back on 12/14/03. Today, 12/19/03 I rec'd a package from SHENTECH.COM and it was the wrong item. They sent me a Visiontek MX 420 PCI card instead. This was supposed to be a XMAS item, and thanks to their messup, someone WILL NOT be getting a gift this XMAS. I have to pay to return the WRONG item, plus wait for the correct item to arrive. "I ordered a SAMSUNG 153V LCD on 14 Dec. Since I was sending this LCD as a present to another address I was requested to update my credit card with the sending address as an alternate address, which I did on 15 Dec. On 17 Dec I called SHENTECH I was told the credit card did clear and the item would ship that day - 17 Dec. Today (18Dec) I received an email telling me the item is out of stock and my order is cancelled. I am very disatisfired with their service and will not attempt to use them again. They refused to put the manager on the line when I called back to make arrangements for a substitution. They had the lowest price advertised for this item on PriceWatch.com and could not produce - STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!"
