Unreal POS website! Never buy from them .

"I spent over 30 minutes trying to check out to finally learn that 1 or more products was out of stock so therefore even though it appeared I could check out I could not. Apparently they will take you right up to Secure Checkout which is grayed out due to something being out of stock. It then takes 20+ minutes on the phone waiting to find out what is wrong.

I will never use them again.
Save your time and money buy somewhere else.

Cheap parts with high mark ups.

"Horrible,horrible, horrible. This place is going down hill fast. Parts keep getting worse and worse meanwhile mark ups keep tripling. Just order a part advance did not have in stock .had to wait 7 days only to pick up and item was damaged and I had to pay shipping and this big company had no shipping insurance. Can you believe advance has no shipping insurance. So now my only option is to wait another 7 days. This company is a joke"

Waste of time

"The Crain highway, Bowie Maryland branch closed their doors at 655 pm on Sunday when online and on the door it said open till 8 pm.. I drive all the way to the store to find a closed door and the person inside saw me mouthed to me that they are close... what a waste of my time and effort... "

"I’ve been to the store a few times only to find one person working there. On occasion 2. But today was ridiculous there were 6 of us in the store with one sales person. And he was doing his absolute best taking care off us all. He wasn’t complaining even even one man got ignorant. I personally told that other customer to shut up and give the man a break. He did we purchased we left. "

Placed order online, but went to pickup in store, no part

"I placed an order online and received a confirmation email. I went to the store to picked up the part and no part. Called the online store and she called the store to see what the problem was. She came back to the phone and said that it shows online that they had the radiator hose, but they was sold out. She also said that they was gonna cancel my order and give me back my $4.10. Now online it never said that it was already in the store, it said that I would receive an email when it ships. Stop trying to play your customers stupid, I don't care how much it costs, I needed the part and order it. I am and wasn't satisfied at all. Store is located in Vicksburg MS on Hall Ferry."

Misleading advertisement on IPhone

"I was looking for some sandpaper.Found correct grits at the store , 52 Yonge St , Ormond Beach,Fl . Ad asked if I would like a 20 percent discount. I said yes. Gathered 3-4 things that I needed. People were nice and helpful. Went to counter to pay. Told the clerk I had a discount from the phone. Clerk said that it was for online sales only. Bought goods anyway. Left store. Checked website again. Still couldn’t see that it was online sales only.Feel that I was mislead. Advanced Auto Parts has lost a customer. My email is ****@**** if anyone would like to respond.

Doesn't give credits back where they are needed

"We are with a body & repair shop in NC. We've been trying to get credits back for parts we sent back for almost a year as well as the warranty claims that come with it. We're a tech net shop & this should NOT be an issue. We have yet to get anything resolved. It's ridiculous considering how much money we spent with them over the years. "

Worst parts store in new york

"I bought two brand new calipers for my truck in one of their stores in Vermont on my way home with new vehicle I bought found out I did not need them so I went to return them where I live in Plattsburgh New York and they would not give me a refund as I paid cash and lost receipt. Any other corporate parts store can easily take a return of their own in house brand no questions asked but they were very rude and have no customer service. I will make sure that no one I know ever buys anything from their stores as they are probly the worst parts store I have ever delt with!!"

"Store#06538 it is not written for returns purchased with debit card for money to go back on debit card when they are suppose to give cash back.its been days i have not recieved my refund back.this is bad buisness as i have made purchases there countless times i will be sure to let shops know about these people"

New battery for my car!

"I went to the Advance Auto #08631 in Medford MA, early in the morning..I asked how much would a battery cost. I was told $170
including tax. My battery was dead!
I came back at 16:38
There were 3 Asian boys, I spoke to Wilson W, when I asked for the battery I was told $190.00! I was surprised I asked, "what happened to the !170.00 . I felt ill my cash being limited...They said, they didn't know what I was talking about $170... In desperation I brought the battery! The manager then told me, they were NOT going to put it in for me...I was horrified! I was afraid! My battery barely got me there! The manger proceeded to say, after I explained my situation.."YOU COULD COME BACK TOMORROW!" I can't I said, I don't think I could make it!" The manager responded, I don't what to tell you..we will NOT put in the battery today. So I had brought a battery with the little money I had, over charged and now they were NOT putting it in for no reason, all three of them would not help me!! I walked away!
It was dark now! The headlights stopped working..i was so scared! I can't afford triple A, NO friends, family, new in MA. I drove in the dark slowly to another Advance Auto in Waltham hoping someone could help me there! By the grace of God I mistakenly I drove to Auto Zone!! I explained what had happened to me. Their manager was upset at his employees that they had NOT help me place the battery...Immediately they went to work.
The looked at my receipt, and said, " YOU brought this at Advance Auto, WE ARE AUTO ZONE!! Oh my god!! I was dead I knew I couldn't drive anymore my car barely made it there!
THEN TO MY AMAZEMENT!! AUTO ZONE WENT TO WORK!!!!THEY REMOVED THE OLD BATTERY AND PLACE THE NEW ONE!!! WHAT A HOLIDAY BLESSINGS!
THEY EVEN EXPLAINED THAT THE $22.00 OVER CHARGE, I THOUGHT,WOULD BE RETURNED ONCE I RETURN THE OLD BATTERY!! I DID NOT KNOW THIS!!
The next day I called, Advanced Auto and spoke to another manager, not only was he proud of what his employees had done the day before but hung up on me!

Worst Auto Parts Store EVER!

"This auto parts store is the most incompetent auto parts store. In Chapin, South Carolina they gave my husband 2 dead batteries - finally got it right on the third try. They gave the wrong parts on 2 different occasions - even after going over it again and again and them checking the computer. The store in Gainesville, GA gives wrong parts, orders from the warehouse or wherever and give us a pick-up date and when we come to pick op part - it's not there because they NEVER EVN ORDERED IT! Now - during an online order that was supposed to be here in 3 business days - order placed on Oct. 2, 2019 - which was a Wednesday, Is still at the warehouse in Thompson, GA as of Oct. 8, 2019 - which was a Tuesday - hasn't even been picked up by whoever the carrier should be (UPS or FedEx). In the meantime, my car will not move until I get this part. I've had to call off work for several days now and probably won't get it until Friday or Saturday! They ****! I will never order from them EVER AGAIN!!!"

Failed to deliver expedited parts

"I ordered critical parts to be expedited for the long holiday weekend and paid a premium for 2day delivery. One part showed up on Friday as promised. I called customer service and was told the other would be delivered late but on Saturday morning. Waited til noon Saturday and called again and was told to expect delivery Tuesday. So advance autos incompetence cost me 3 days and the labor I set up for the job. Customer service was no help at all to get me my parts on time. Nasty attitudes and incompetent. Thanks for nothing; will switch to another supplier."

Super Service

"As a 20 year veteran in the air of customer service/support/training in the health and wellness industry, it is such a breath of fresh air to work with a company like Advance Auto. The people experience is truly inspiring. Today I had to return some wiper blades after a long trip out of state because they were not performing properly, no questions asked, replaced blades with a mild refund because of brand change and I could not be more thrilled with the story in Cheyenne Wyoming."
