"I ordered a part a week ago, tracked the package yesterday and the Label did not have the apartment number listed. As you are probably aware, if the apartment number is not visible or legible, they won't send it - they'll put it on hold. I triple checked to see if it was my error, it was not. My order confirmation had the apartment number listed under, "Shipping Address".
Steps attempted to correct the problem-
1) Correct address through the UPS website
- Was unable to do so, due to the fact that the sender had locked the change from a third party.
2) Contacting Advance Auto Parts #1
- Contacted AAP and sat on the phone for nearly 40 minutes. I gave up and decided to try again the following day (Today).
3) Contacting AAP #2
- Again, sat on the phone for nearly 30 minutes. Gave up once again. Then attempted to use the Help Desk service on there website, which is mentioned every 30 seconds when you are waiting to speak with a representative over the phone; didn't help. Completely useless for this situation.
This is either an issue with the automated system for which generates the printing labels or someone completely overlooked the apartment number.
In either case, I will never order parts through AAP again. Hope to have this resolved today, but seems to be unlikely.

You guys run hp rp5800 computers, and the hardware in the computers can’t seem to keep up with the software because you guys are literally pushing strong software into a week computer system. The computer has to be able to compute. You can’t give a 2nd grader an algebraic equation and tell him/ her to solve it without there being an issue. "Took my car to have the control arms (Under Lifetime Warranty) replaced and wheel alignment. The car came out with a bad sound when I turn the steering wheel and it pulls to the right when driven on the highway. Took it back and all they did was rotate the tires and told me I need to replace the rack and pinion. The car was fine when it went into their shop. How can that be when I order online and it is available. They want to sell me the other air filter that is double in price! I said hell no and do not pick up the order. The day before the part was suppose to arrive they email me to inform me: "Your order has been cancelled, the part is out of stock." My hunch is they didn't want to lose money on my order because the discount they offered. This company is offering bogus deals IHMO. Shop somewhere more respectable. "
