"This is my first time doing buying some stuff at Sidewinder Computer Systems and the overall experience was a positive one.
At first, all I needed was some black fan screws which I have checked all around. Sidewinder had the best price+shipping on them. Then I saw some other "good" deals that Sidewinder had and bought some thermal pastes and cleaning kits which are cheaper than other places.
Shipping was extremely fast. Given the small amount of stuff I ordered with regards to the weight, I chose 1st class mail parcel. Then I found out from checking the tracking info that Sidewinder upgraded the shipping method to USPS Priority mail at no extra charge.
The things that Sidewinder Computer Systems should improve is having the weight info per item. So that way when someone choose some items, he would be able to choose which shipping options can be applied to his order.
Another thing of improvement would be a wider selection of more items and fast restocking of items that are sold out. There were a few items that I wanted to buy, but they were sold out for some time prior to purchasing.
Anyhoo, I do plan in purchasing more stuff from Sidewinder Computer Systems given the prices and the low shipping costs. "

Since SideWinders do their international orders now, I was a bit sceptic, since I really liked and was familiar with the service and (after)support from PTS.
However, John and Gary answered my emails very quickly and accurate. Got a quote of my order very fast and everything was shipped in no-time.
When my package arrived it was all packed very nice, only thing I would like to see better is to put the O-rings in a bag, they where all over the box, but beside that it was all packed very nice and secure.

These companies set the bar beyond imagination, other then the image Progressive sells in its commercials.
I read the review below and I believe both parties are at fault and made mistakes. I think that communication on sidewinder's part was poor and it resulted in a spiteful, vengeful Charlie. It gave him ammunition to attack and critique.
But once the issues were communicated, if Charlie was that unhappy he should have just taken his business elsewhere instead of continuing to order more supplies. PC builders like myself get very excited about building a machine and when things don't go the way we want we get fussy.
Sidewinder should NOT have sent a black O ring to Charlie, that was highly unprofessional and really illustrates to me that my standards of operation and Sidewinders standards of operation are not the same. I can't advertise one thing and sell another, in the real world that's called fraud and is illegal.
On the other hand I do think that Charlie lost the O ring or broke it and wanted Sidewinders to pay for the mistake.
I ordered a Kaze Master Pro fan controller from sidewinders. The controller is great, shipping was fast and packed well and I will order from them again as long as the price is right.
Price is what gets us in the door, service is what gets us to come back. I'm happy with my purchase but I am disappointed in the handling of Charlies O ring.
Word of advice to all business:
It doesn't matter who's wrong, just listen take ownership and pacify. Do not let your company be taken advantage of, document and track customer curtsies and draw limits. An 0.13 cents O ring is a terrible reason to lose $300.00 sale for a guy building a new PC or someone like me who does $20,000.00 purchase orders for the DOD.
In closing - Sidewinders Computers is Good in my book and I will purchase from them again.
Recommendation - Price Match ANYTHING if it's within 10.00 even if you lose money. The money you lose will go a long way and there are Harvard studies that prove that. "
"I have done some business with Sidewinder Computers more than once and I have a hard time believing the negative comments below.
I have exchanged numerous emails with Gary and with John Grantham, and they have been extremely patient with my questions and learning curve on several water cooling components this past week.
With no guarantee of business at all, they went out of their way to help me with my questions and confirm what I thought I wanted. This is how customer service should be.
If the good pricing at Sidewinder wasn't enough, the customer service easily puts them over the top vs anyone else out there.
I don't take the time to review a lot of places cause there isn't always much worthy of noting. This was one of those times I needed to chime in how great it is.

"This company cannot accept the fact they make mistakes and blames everybody but themselves. They are two companies SidewinderComputer and Petras.
My first order with this company was the IC Diamond product. I ordered a 24 carat tube that costs $20. They sent me a 7 carat tube that costs like ~$7-9. They blamed IC packaging for the mistake. I never said a word and let them make it right.
I then proceeded to ask for a quote on a very sophisticated chilling system, in particular the fittings. They kept promising the quote for over 2 weeks and never delivered it. I had to continue emailing and calling and they continued to lie and tell me one more day. Then when I got the quote they left off the reservior. When the products were delivered they were taped so tightly together you couldn't tell if the products were new or used.
Then I ordered some more parts for the reservior. They shipped the parts and left off an integral seal. I called them and told them I wanted the exact same seal and Gary promised he would send out the exact same seal. Instead he sent out a sub par seal continuing to delay my build even longer.
When I called him back and requested the original part per my request he suggested it was strange the part wsn't there in the last 2 years over 2000 orders they never had a seall ike this missing. As he was opening the same part nad taking the seal off of it to compare wihtth e part he sent me. You get the fact once again he is implying my fault for misplacing/losing the seal and not his companies fault for inspecting the product be delivery.
Gary has a anger management problem and is rude to his customers. He accused me of this to once again not take the blame for his incompetence.
He offered for me to return the product and I accepted very willingly.
At this point he needs to take back the product no matter the condition and pay for shipping.
He and his companies are the worst I have ever done business with.
He trys to put everything off on everyone else when he is to blame. I have met people like this before and they should never handle customer service.
This whole thing has done nothing but cost me time and money and no value or product worth using.
My reponse to Gary's lies:
Gary lied about the IC Diamond issue and made other lies in his reaponse. I never used any foul language or abused anyone I was extemely patient and kind. Also Sidewinder did say they wanted the IC Diamomnd back and sent a return shipping package for it so he is lying. They said I was required to send it back so they could RMA it to the 24 carat tube. I have the information to prove it. This shows Gary is a lier and not trustworthy. I would respond to the rest of his replies but its not worth my time. He has an anger management issue and cannot be wrong with anything or bothered to deliver the correct product payed for. I also have a tracking number for a replacement cap he promised to make right and he never sent it to show how much he lies here is the tracking number: 9101805213907565796017 (USPS said they had notice to receive it but never shipped)
This all over a ~$3 part this shows his lack of character. I highly recommend people stay away from this company.
Also the o ring in question is not just green it is UV and advertised on his site as that as a bonus feature. And still hasn't made it right. He is a flat out liar and disrespectful to his customers when he makes mistakes.
I had to reply to one more lie. I never once asked for free product from him sponsoring my rig. As you can see in the quote free product was never mentioned. And he cannot produce communication of me asking for free product. To the contrary he asked me to advertise his company by just putting a link to it in my forum sig/rig which is illegal in most forums. Said he told others he wouldn't sponsor is why he cannot sponsor me I have the email. He is the bigest out right liar I have ever met.
My deal with IC Diamond as a sponsor is I give out free TIM to forum members and collect the results of the use of the product. For that I do not get paid. I do it for the community.
They also shorted me 1 foot of Tygon tubing on the order from the original quote.
Once again Gary is lying to cover his tracks here is a part of his response email to me when I asked where the fittings where for the reservior:
"Charles...
I am also out of the Blue Fuzion version of this reservoir, that may be why it was not on the estimate...."
To show how nice I was to him here is my email asking the question to dispute his lies about me being rude:
"I got my fittings thanks! Hey my reservoir (FrozenQ Liquid Fusion) was left off the list. I decided to use it for show and not really hook it up since the chiller will be my reservoir. Do you have any Bitspower plugs/caps I can put into the bottom? I need 2. Preferably black in color."
I even sent other emails doing his research and finding the right part. Too many emails to post but see he is just not doing his job I had to do it for him.
As you can see in his statement below he is just plain lying to you in his response:
"Customer claims we left off a reservoir ... he confirmed the list while at the same time, asking to send him free products"
Never once in his quote of me supposedly asking him for free product, which isn't in the quote either, he is claiming I confirmed the order was correct which I never did I just bought what was on the order relying on his supposed expertise which is obviously not there. Really steer clear of this sheister."

The selection is there, but everything I want is always out of stock ='( But they usually have an almost as good alternative part when I'm in a pinch (like the compression fittings I needed since my system sprung leaks at the barbs today).
