"My new Canon 20D I purchased from Dell needed a lens and Sigma 4 Less had the lowest price for a Sigma 17-70mm lens at $349. I placed the order through sigma4less.com for 2-day UPS shipping. Once the order was placed, I received an email order confirmation within the hour.
To ensure that the lens would arrive at the same time as my camera, I called Sigma 4 Less to confirm that the lens was shipped. A polite woman answered the phone and confirmed that the lens was shipped.
Shortly after, I received UPS's Quantum confirmation tracking email that the order was received. Two business days later, I received the well-packaged lens.

"I chose to order from Sigma4Less after a ton of research. The discriminating factor was their good rating on ResellerRatings.com. I ordered a Sigma D-SLR lens online. Smooth ordering process, well-designed and functional webpage. Received order on time, well packaged. Unfortunately, they sent me the lens that I had ordered with the wrong mount. I called and was nicely told to send it abck for immediate exchange. Surprisingly, they don't have an RMA procedure in place. In order of obtaining proof of my return, I sent it back by certified mail. They did not send out the replacement lens with the correct mount until they had received and logged the returned lens, which was a bit disappointing since they initially screwed up my order. In fact, I sent them a copy of my proof of return (certified mail receipt). This whole process took over two weeks... No reply yet (after reciept of the exchanged lens) on my request to refund the return postage - again, I incurred this cost due to their mistake.
Bottomline: I will likley order from them again when I am in the market for a product that they offer at the right price. I assume this was an isolated mistake, which they fixed (mostly) appropriately. It was just unfortunate that I had the additional expense of sending them a wrong lens back that they delivered, and the whole process took fairly long due to this mistake.
Communication on their end could have been better - I emailed them immediately after I discovered their mistake, didn't get an email reply. The next day I called them with my complaint and got an honest apology and the advice to send the wrongly delivered item back for "immediate exchange". My question about the RMA process yielded a short "just send it back to us", and my question about refund of the return postage (both on the phone and via email) was simply ignored.
Take it for what it's worth - I think they are more honest and more reliable than most other photo outfits that I read about... "

"Bought a $759 lens over the phone. They did not push any extras, but I wanted the original Sigma warranty card. Salesperson said it woiuld be $30, but didn't end up actually charging me. Great to deal with when ordering. Once I received the lens, I knew right away that it was way too big (all my fault). They were on vacation for a few weeks so I really worried how the return would go. Returned it when they got back, and received a full credit (minus shipping charges) with absolutely no hassle.
