"We were in the market for a large-screen TV and selected the Panasonic 50-inch G25. The price on the Panasonic 32-inch U22 was so good we bought that one as well. We've had nothing but pleasant buying experiences with Sixth Avenue and this time around they were spot on with their products and great prices. We've also had good luck with the Panasonic brand and these televisions are no exception. Both are 1080i and the picture quality is exceptional. Both televisions exceeded our expectations for picture quality. Our only surprise was learning the audio output is optical only. Optical to RCA converters cost around $100 (you have to get Dolby 5.1 compatible) so we may be in the market soon for an upgrade to our receivers. Sixth Avenue gets five stars for delivering the 32-inch model about three days after we placed the order. However, their shipping agent for the 50-inch model gets a goose egg for taking over two weeks to deliver. I had to call them at the two week point and request home delivery. OK, so it wasn't a perfect experience. The products are great, ordering experience totally professional, and in six months the delivery issue will be long forgotten."

"The order process was great. I purchased an LG 50" Plasma as part of the Sick Deal of the Day. When it came to shipping, I was really displeased with the process. When the expected delivery timeframe came, I was told on a Monday that the TV was in Minnesota and awaiting a carrier to bring it to Montana, but to expect it in two days. After not receiving any word on Wednesday, I called again and was told it was still in Minnesota, but should be transferred by Friday and delivered by Monday or Tuesday next week. I received no word on Monday and called to find out that it was STILL in Minnesota, but to expect it...you guessed it, in two days. I called Tuesday to find it was still in Minnesota. Fortuantely, a wonderful soul named Julie took matters into her hands and was able to get the TV transferred to Salt Lake City by that Friday. It was then transferred to Montana and I had the TV on the following Monday, which was 2 weeks past the expected delivery date. So, in summary, 6th Ave has killer deals and ensures that the item gets to you in quality condition, but since they use a private freight service, don't expect your item to arrive in a timely manner if you don't live in a major metropolitan area."
"I received my TV on Dec. 13. I called numerous times to see about the delivery and your people were exceptional. They would call the courier company and try to find out where the TV was. They were all courtious and helpful. I know you have no control on the courier service, but your people made the wait bearable. I would definately order from you again. Thank you Brenda"
"I received all items in my order in good condition. My only complaint would be regarding shipping of the tv portion of the order. Tracking wasn't as easy to follow as FedEx or UPS typically is. I could tell that the order was in St. Louis, but no one was able to tell me when to expect delivery to my rural area. This went on for about 5 days after the tracking indicated I would receive delivery. Meanwhile, I received the two smaller items in the order a week prior to the tv. I noticed that I had been charged for the order on my credit card prior to actually receiving the tv. When I mentioned this to the shipping company I received the tv the next day. Fortunately the items in my order were correct and in good condition. Just became frustrated with freight situation and lack of anyone being able to give me definitive information."

"To be fair, I had a slow delivery on my TV when I ordered it around Black Friday this year. I wanted an explanation and emailed the company. The manager actually called me personally on a Saturday and admitted problems with extremely high volumes during the Black Friday weekend that caused the delays. He apologized and was clearly very concerned about providing excellent customer service. Out of hundreds (possibly thousands) of online web orders, I can't remember ever getting a call like this about a problem from the seller. Usually, I spend a great deal of time calling a store, emailing them, and talking to the lowest person on the totem pole that is unable to correct a problem, acknowledge a problem, or help in anyway. This was very different, and that's a good thing. "
"I bought an Onkyo 5008 receiver on 11/18/2010. After talking with Onkyo, they told me to exchange the receiver as I was told it was defective. I called 6th Avenue on 11/26/2010 and was sent a UPS return label. I sent back the unit with all parts and packing on 11/29/2010. The Unit was received by 6th Avenue on 12/1/2010 at 10 am EST. I called on 12/3/2010 and was told 3 - 7 business days. I called on 12/8/2010 because I hadn't received a tracking number and was told nothing was done and was told it would be processed. I called 12/10/2010 and was told 3-7 business days and the unit has not been sent out.
This time I had enough. I told the rep that their site says about damaged items "We make every effort to ship inventory as quickly as possible. We can not ship your new item, however, until the damaged item is in our possession or that of our shipping company. From that point, you can expect your item to ship in 48-72 business hours." The rep proceeded to tell me what a business day meant to them and that UPS sent the package to the wrong address and that warehouse moves products based on size first. I explained the label was processed by 6th Avenue and UPS delivered it to the address 6th Avenue gave. I tried to explain that from when they received it, it has been 7 business days and the item has not moved from their dock. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that they were on the phone. I asked for my money back at that point and they said they would still hold my money for 3-7 business days. This company is the worst company have ever purchased anything from. I will never buy another thing from them, even if it was for a $1.00."
"6ave misrepresented the product in stock status and when it would be shipped. I ordered a panasonic tv and it stated it was in stock and would ship within 3-5 business days. On the 6th business day, I called and the rep said it would ship within 24-48 hours. 48 hours later, no tracking email, so I called again and the rep said it would ship within 3 business days. I just received an email stating that the product was out of stock and they received notification from the manufacturer that 6ave will receive a new shipment and as soon as 6ave receives the order in their distribution center, they will ship out the tv. The reps have been lying this whole time. Here it is, December 10th, and still no signs of shipping the unit. The company has been misrepresenting the status on this order from day one...at this point I could have purchased the tv at the local Sears store for a few bucks more but have now missed the deal they had because I thought I had one coming from 6ave...6ave is unethical and screwed me out of a tv during the holidays mid-football season. Poor customer service and unethical practices will make me steer clear of this company. And I'm still waiting for the tv which I probably won't receive for another several weeks...completely wrong. They should have offered an upgrade to a tv they had in stock. "
