"Everything was great to start. I feel like I received a good deal on my television. Sixth Avenue shipped the item in the time limit that they said (within 2 days). I'm still not sure what the problem was, whether the company lied about shipping the item, or the company that they used to ship the television was at fault. I received my television over 3 weeks after I had ordered it. The tracking Web site that is given to you does not work. You always have to call Sixth Avenue for tracking information which is fine, if they gave you the correct information. They told me it was going to be shipped to me within a week. Two weeks later, they had no idea where my item was and why it was not shipped to me yet. If it was not for the shipping of this transaction everything would have been great!"

"Very good system - I did quite a bit of research before buying, and I am happy with the sound quality (for the price).
I have one gripe with this system though - the page claims ethernet connectivity ... it can only be used to update system firmware and for BD-live. If you want to hook up your computer to this, forget it. The provided USB port can only be used to store (temp files), that is, after you plug in a >1GB storage device, all the data will be deleted and BD-live content that gets downloaded will be stored there. So, if you want to use an external hard disk with media files ... this is not the system to buy.
Another trouble I had was with the customer support of 6ave. I wanted to return the system and get one that can handle external media. First I reached one of their regular call handlers who was very understanding and agreed to take the product back with $27 restocking and around $25 shipping. I kind of pushed my luck and asked to talk to their sales manager who told me that its buyers beware for all products sold by 6ave. That is, it is up to the buyer to do the research on the product to know what it is capable of and what it isnt. USB port specified on their product page means just that... it is there. I tried to say that it usually means I can plug in external media, but he wouldn't hear it. This actually discouraged me from shipping it back, because they might not return the money claiming product damage even if there wasnt any. It will be shipper's beware then!"
"I ordered the Sony Blu-Ray Home Theater System (bdvt10) on 11/26. According to the website the system was supposed to be 1000 watts, however when I received the package it was a 800 watts system. I notfied customer service and sent the system back via UPS. Currently, I am awaiting refund; I understand that credit cards usually take longer to process refunds, so I'm just patiently waiting.

"I ordered from 6th Ave Electronics for this LG 50PK250 on Nov. 17 2010 to SF Bay area. Being able to use Amazon for checkout is great. The shipping confirmation came 2 days later, and the TV was delivered in a week as part of their free shipping offer. So far the TV is great. I've got PS3 connected with HDMI for games and movies, my computer connected with RGB input, and antenna connected for DTV. No problems after using it for two weeks. This is my 2nd LG TV and I'm becoming a big fan."
"I ordered three flat screen tv's from 6th ave. I believe 6th ave had the best price available for these televisions because I shopped around quite a bit. I received all three tv's withen the delivery time frame as promised. The trucking company called and set up a delivery time and the tv's were received in excellent condition. The trucking company employees were very helpful and courteous. They helped me carry the tv's into my house and put them where they needed to be. All in all I am very, very satisified with my experience with 6th ave and would reccomend them to friends and family."

"The value was fantastic and the product is as expected. However, 6ave is entirely too strict about their shipping policies. I am in NJ and this was a gift for someone in AZ. The only way 6ave would ship it to the intended recipient was if I changed the billing address on my credit card to that person's address in Arizona!!
I eventually did change my billing address and informed 6ave but they never re-verified so they cancelled my order (this was the 2nd time they cancelled it). So I had to place the order a 3rd time with the changed billing address which I had to change back to my real address once the item shipped. I asked for other options and wasn't given any - this just seemed extreme to me."
