"I bought a Panasonic SC-BTT350 at a very good price. The product itself is superb and worth the money. However, when I received the product, the remote control was damaged by box stapler. Apparently, someone at 6Ave decided to staple the paperwork to the box and punctured the remote in the process. I called Panasonic and received the absolute worst customer NO service ever. They are rude and not very accommodating. Then I called 6ave and the lady was very polite and helpful. She said she could not process my request for a replacement remote due to holidays, but someone will contact me December 27th to process the replacement. Today is Jan 5th and I have not heard from 6Ave. This is why I am giving 6Ave 3 stars. It could have been a 5 stars experience should they called me back last week....

"Great price and product arrived in great condition. The only snag was with shipping. It was cutting it close to Christmas for delivery of this item. I called the shipping company whose number was shown on Sixth Ave's site who gave me the number to another shipping company that was processing the order, who transfered me to another shipping company they outsourced the order to. I had a date scheduled for delivery with that company and with their slot of Noon to 5pm. They couldn't tell me if I would be the first delivery to get the range more specific. This required leaving work early to be home by Noon. The shipping company called my home at Noon and since nobody answered they didn't deliver the product. The person to sign for the package was at my home at 12:01pm so they never heard the phone. I wish they would've told me they were going to call as I had just spoken to them the previous day for delivery; one unexpected phone call and no delivery was not good."

"I tried and failed to buy a Panasonic plasma from 6th Avenue. Through Amazon, they advertised it for about $900. I wrote and also called 6th Avenue to ask if that TV was new in the box, since their ad didn't say either way. If it was new, I would buy it.
They were snowed out that day and so didn't respond. Fair enough; that happens.
When they got back the next day, their price had increased about $180. I sent a screen shot of the $900 ad proving that I saw the offer and tried to accept it. They refused to honor their ad saying 'Go talk to Amazon.' I did, Amazon responded that suppliers set the price so, 'Go talk to 6th Avenue.' I then went back to 6th Avenue, to the same guy who had emailed twice before, but he went silent - no attempt at customer service at all.
I eventually bought a larger version of that same Panasonic from my local Sears store for (with tax) about $175 less than 6th Avenue's price for the same larger machine. Yes, it was a good sale at Sears but that's not the point.
6th Avenue refused to honor their ad on Amazon. That's a fundamental integrity problem.

"Great buying experience. I ordered a TV and found that the price had dropped locally $100 a few days later. Kevin Schulman over at 6Ave matched the price. He was very knowledgeable about the products and helped me with my purchase. I plan to purchase a couple more TV's from them."
"Ordered 50" plasma Panasonic TV on November 24, 2010, it was shipped to Pittsburgh arrived on December 2nd. and from there to Parkersburg, WV on December 4th. Today is December 29th and still do not have the TV, although my credit card has been billed and paid. Sixth Avenue Electronics freight shipping has been a complete nightmare. Noone at Sixth Avenue Electronics has been able or willing to step up to follow up with the delivery. I have had countless phone calls to them and YES they are polite, but unable to promote Sixth Avenue Electronics for a pleasant purchasing experience. They may have super deals...but it is not worth the time and aggravation. You are better off buying online from Walmart or Sam's Club. I finally cancelled my order today, 35 days after placing the order. Very, very disappointed. P.S. I wouldn't bother with emailing customer service either, they are very slow to respond and only after repeated attempts. Team Worldwide, the freight company is very unprofessional and insincere. This nightmare is over."
"I ordered this as a gift and it was delivered unwrapped, in original packaging and was seen by the recipient before it should have been, I wrote and commented on this to customer service and never even got a response. I suggested they not do this to anyone else and ruin the element of surprise. The least they could have done was put it inside a box or paper wrapped it rather than just stick a mailing label on it and ship."
