Upon opening the package, I noticed the product did not have the normal new unopened package wrappings such as screen protector and clear plastic wrapping to protect the finish. I noticed that the AC/DC charger was missing. I'm not sure if the item was new or not. So far I haven't had a problem with the tablet operation. A charger was later sent to me. "

"I ordered a Denon AVR-891 7.2 Receiver online from 6th ave. and was very pleased with the whole process. As a comparison, I had mail-ordered 2 floorstanding Advent Legacy II speakers from them some 25+ years ago (which I still use), and was very pleased with their service then too. It's good to see that they are still doing an excellent job after all these years. If anything, with the better communication options we have available now, the whole experience is actually better than ever.
They did a great job of keeping me informed of my order status all throughout. The receiver arrived exactly when promised, double boxed and in great condition.

I ordered a Dyson dc25 animal (purple with a wand attachment) and received a Dyson dc25 (yellow no attachment). Different vacuums, different prices.
I contacted them and said there was nothing they could do and they would send me a return label and refund my money once they received the vacuum. Am I getting refunded the interest? No! Am I getting the vacuum I wanted.... No, why because they don't know if they have any in stock.
Let me check....yes you do as you are selling them on your website and it's in stock.
Well sorry I can do anything about it you would have to contact the sales department!!! What??? You are customer service! Sorry I can't do anything about it.
And it goes on! So don't shop here as they won't send you the correct product, or go out of their way to make it right."

Package came in origional box packed in a padded larger box, I think it could have fallen off a bridge and survived.

Unrelated to 6th Avenue, but something to keep in mind. UPS tried to deliver the TV to the wrong address. UPS then tried to tell me I missed the delivery. UPS made numerous promises and just let me down repeatedly. I'd recommend choosing a different shipping method than UPS."

I ordered a Wii game on Fri. 5.27.2010. The website had it listed In Stock and on sale for $14.59. (Amazon's had it on sale for 15.00, I thought I would take a chance with another co.)
I took into account for the holiday on Monday for shipping so I was patient.
No word until Tues.5.31.11. I went to their website to check the status of my order and see 2 orders listed? So I called c/s- the reps says there was a problem w/ my cc- (they can't call you to resolve it- again, I found out when I checked the status of my order on the website, they didn't call me to inform me of anything.) The problem wasn't my card, it was their computer system- server issues. Ok, the rep said they straightened it out and the order went through and should ship in 24 hrs.
Get an e-mail on 6.1.11 "Your order is Oversold" -so I call c/s and got transferred to manager Carolyn, who apologized profusely, but she kept saying we didn't know the item would oversell- well doesn't anyone do inventory? I know she is not the webmaster or the stock manager, but everything is computers today- they know how many they have. (Most other store have the "only - left in sock so order soon")
The switch part was her telling me the item was available on competitors website, so I can buy it there and she would give me some $ off another Item they had in stock?? That still bothers me. Right now, I was only looking to purchase that particular item. Plus,If they can't get a $14 item right, what would make me order something larger?
Just really tired of excuses, Don't list items for sale if you don't have them."
