"I have had gift cards for quite some time now and I've tried to make purchases with them and have had nothing but problems. The first purchase came broken and it cost me $15.00 to ship it back. The next purchase I made online and the web site wouldn not accept the purchase but it took the money off the gift cards that I used. I finally had the cards reinstated. Now I am talking about $100 in gift cards. This time I made my purchase over the phone. Everything looked good but now I received a "cancelled notice" that my order was cancelled. I can not seem to get a smooth transaction here."

"I definitely will never be ordering from SkyMall again, and this was my first order ever. I placed an order for a friend's birthday gift on 10/17. First, I received an email that I would get 20% off "an item in my shopping cart," even though I had already confirmed the purchase. This would have been more than $10 off of the purchase. Next, 10 days later, the item had still not even been shipped. I called to cancel the order because it was a friend's birthday gift and it was clearly too late. The item was supposed to ship within 7 business days. On 11/4, 18 days after the order and 8 days after canceling the order, the item is shipped. I called on 11/4 to see if they could PLEASE stop the order mid transit because it was way too late and I would be unable to return it once it was received as it was going directly to a friend who lives in a different state. They said they could do nothing. I pushed back a bit, and finally was told I could have the shipping returned ($11 apparently buys 20 day shipping), and that the cancel of the product was only a "request." Needless to say I will never purchase anything there again, and will also encourage others also to avoid this scam."

"The product I ordered arrived on Tuesday. the box was not damaged on the outside however when I opened the box I found the item inside was shipped to me BROKEN. Today I called customer service and was told I would receive the proper documentation to return the Items via email. I have not received any emails yet from the shipper to date. They said they would ship me out another one but that I would not receive it before the holiday. That stinks as it was a gift surprise for me wife. I waited over a month for the first one to get here and I have no idea when the replacement will arrive. "
