"Well, I was sent an email when I registered saying that I would receive 20% off my first order; I did not see it reflected in my checkout, so I called Customer Service. You a re not open on weekends. I returned to the email and saw that there was a link contained in the graphic that explained details. The details says "not all mechants participate." I will tell you that if you did not disclose that MY first purchase is not eligible for the discount, I will cancel my order and never use Skymall again--period. Amazing to me how you can take what should be a positive experience to make new customers and turn it into a disagreeable, customer losing event--just because you did not go to the trouble of making your checkout check my product against your database of products, and clearly STATE that this product does not qualify for the 20% discount. If it actually does qualify, I recommend providing that clearly in the Order Summary. Either way--a very poor job in eCommerce customer experience."

"Ordered 3 things through skymall. One item (memorial ornament) was suppose to be engraved but wasn't. When I called the company I was told I could send the item back and for an additional 7.95 they would engrave it. I did not send it back. A second item (a remote control wand) would not work. I called that company and they sent me the form to return it. However my shipping cost for that item was not refunded just the purchase price. When something doesn't work I shouldn't have to pay for shipping to return it. "

"I had the most horrible experience you can imagine. Ordered the slide converter (for converting photo negatives to digital images) and 5 extra trays for the converter. The postage charges were horrendous for shipping to Denmark, but I accepted them, because I really wanted the converter.
Then Skymall customer service contact me several days after the order, and tell me the order was cancelled. I had a horrible feeling in my stomach, and asked them to make sure the entire order was cancelled, that the 5 extra trays weren't on their very expensive way here.
Several days later I got a reply that of course the extra trays were on their way and could I please spend 100 dollars on sending them back, so I could get my money back!"
