"I bought my prescription glasses last week on the mail and for about 5-7 days using them I was satisfied. They looked nice and felt okay but yesterday I picked them up and one of the plastic piece that is used against supporting the glasses on your nose broke off. I was disappointed that without any impact or force applied to them, and considering it’s been only a week, that they broke. I can’t use them because without the piece attached, the metal Part pokes my nose. Therefore I don’t recommend them. "

"My husband ordered a pair of rx glasses in April and when they arrived, the rx was incorrect and there was slight cosmetic damage to the frames. My heart sank because I had been wary about this from the start. But to my surprise, when we contacted them, they gave us return instructions and replaced the frames and fixed the rx in a reasonable amount of time. We were disappointed that we were asked to pay the return shipping, and we asked their consideration for a price adjustment for our inconvenience. Again, they seemed happy to oblige, offering a small percentage of refund on the original purchase price and reimbursement for the return shipping once we supplied a copy of the receipt - which luckily I had kept. Since sending that information a month ago, we have not heard back from them or seen a price adjustment credited to our original payment method. Things were going so well, and while we're satisfied with the product, we're unsure whether we'd recommend them due to the lack of overall quality control and follow through."
"I recently reordered a pair of glasses I originally purchased through SmartBuyGlasses a couple years ago. They have a feature on their website which allows you to "re-add to your cart" which sounds convenient enough. I purchased the same pair of glasses with my prescription showing at the time of check out. Fast forward to receiving my order. The glasses are the correct brand, but they at the wrong model, the wrong size, not prescription and, the kicker, not even sunglasses!
Naturally as I start to read reviews of other customer's horror stories, I get concerned... It's been 24 hours and I have not received a response from their customer service department. Given that they have no phone number and I have just spent a large sum of money with them, this is unnerving.
Yesterday afternoon, I thought I'd test to see if their service level is really that slow, OR, if they were just ignoring my complaint, so I created a fake email address and asked a question. I received a response within an hour.
I would absolutely not recommend ordering glasses from this company... the prices look great, but too good to be true."

"I ordered Polarized prescription sunglasses from them, and after speaking to a representative regarding the details, he informed me and confirmed the order of polarized prescription.. After a whole month of waiting, I inquire about the status of what is going on, for them to ask for another 84$ extra for polarization after having received CONFIRMATION from their service representative a month prior regarding the issue. Horrible follow through, their words don't mean anything, just because they say your order is going through does not mean it is. Will no longer do business with them."
