"I've been doing Smarthome for several years and don't understand the few negative reviews about Insteon. I've installed dozens of switches and controllers which were flawless. I remember the days when it could take some time to get support on the phone, but even then, their techs were good. Now they pick up the phone quickly and are always professional, helpful and good. On top of all this, I believe Insteon is the best value of all the smart switches/controllers and the software does everything I need it to including working flawlessly working with Alexa."

"Smarthome's Technical Support is basically like this: "Listen to me as I repeat what you already know from the instructions I'm reading for your device (assuming you can understand their heavy accent--no disrespect intended). If this doesn't work, do the same thing again, expecting different results." In summary, don't expect any real root-problem troubleshooting or investigating."
