I ordered an Adobe Master Collection but was unable to install it for several months due to my PC needing upgrades. When I finally got around to installing it, I discovered it wouldn't upgrade with the upgrade key they had given me. I called their customer service, nervous they wouldn't help me because I was so far out of the guarantee window, but they made it right.

They overnighted a copy of the newest version that WOULD upgrade from the key they gave me, and everythin worked perfectly. The whole thing was just a slight hiccup, but they made it right, even though I was WAY outside of the guarantee window. I will totally buy all my software from Software Media from here on out. "

That issue aside, I chose economy shipping on an order placed on a Sunday. The package was shipped Tuesday via FedEx Ground, and it made it about 1000 miles for delivery Friday. When I called to express some concern over their "glitch", they said "if you wanted it shipped sooner, you should have chosen Standard Shipping." Forget the fact that I saw someone else's name and address on my invoice for 2 days....

Even with the issues, they're legitimate, and I did order another software product from them today.

One thing to consider is that if you go straight to their web site, the prices are significantly higher than if you search for the product name using something like PriceGrabber. Same company and product web page, very different price."
