"This is a TERRIBLE company for customer service. I ordered a tripod from them which was lost by the shipper they used, so now my option is to pay an EXTRA $58.00 to get another one shipped. They refuse to ship me a new one at the price I purchased it at. Now I am stuck with nothing and have to rebook an installation appointment which took a month to get. DO NOT order anything from this company!"

"Needed to buy a cell phone signal booster for my home due to a weak signal. After checking reviews and prices for quite a while, Solid Signal seemed to have the best prices so I decided to go with them.

The ordering went smoothly. I was sent a confirmation email and an email with tracking info when the product was sent out.

The item received in the original manufacturer's box with bubble pockets around it, it seemed to be packed well. The product works as advertised and I am happy."

"My Channel Master 4221 antenna was shipped to me in a long white box. Inside the box wasn't another foam-filled protective box.. it was the antenna itself.. in all its preassembled and delicate glory! There was absolutely no protection for my antenna purchase. Of course that means..
There was significant shipping damage. The plastic part that you are supposed to connect the coax adapter to was broken in half. The metal pieces that secure the bowties to the reflecting grid were bent out of shape and in the case of the bottom one, not attached at ALL.
The enclosed instructions tell you to secure the coax adapter to the antenna using wingnuts.. NO WINGNUTS WERE IN THE PACKAGE!
In addition, the antenna itself was filthy. It had the kind of dust and grime that would accumulate on something that has been sitting in a warehouse for years. After pulling it out of the box my hands looked like I had been working on the undercarriage of my car. Couldn't they at LEAST have cleaned it up a bit before sending it out to me?
This company left me with a bad taste in my mouth. If you pay $15 or so for shipping, you expect SOME level of protection for your purchase. I don't fault UPS at all. You simply can't ship an antenna in a 5' box with no protection and expect it to arrive intact. I also(reasonably) expected my antenna to reach me in a LIKE-NEW state. My purchase arrives and it is covered in dust and GRIME? Unacceptable.
I definitely would NOT order anything from solidsignal again."

My order number was XXXXXXXXX, submitted 12/1/2006 6:33:05 PM (EST). Pay pal was processed 12/4/2006 Monday. According to UPS web site (and your e-mail), did not ship for four more days. Confirmed by phone, item was in stock. When I called after getting the e-mail Friday, the operator said, "It takes longer to process paypal," I suggested the website be annotated to reflect that oddity. Then, thinking about it, I wondered aloud, "why should Paypal, an instantaneous electronic funds transfer service, take any time whatsoever?" She checked and confirmed that the Paypal payment was processed immediately. Why did she tell me otherwise? She was mistaken. What happened to the order? Just kind of got delayed.....

Is it the standard practice of the store to delay shipment for four days? If not, why did it happen in this case?
