"I was charged for my item approximately a week and an half before it was planned to ship. It was a mistake on their part, but their failure to notify me has caused me some grief. I will not be buying from them again, as I feel that I was not properly informed of any problems."
"I placed my order for a Wilson mobile signal booster on 14 June 2010. The nice lady that I spoke to told me that the order might possibly ship that day but certainly by the next day, the 15th.
After reading all of the various reviews of this company, I was a bit apprehensive after placing my order to see so many negative reports, and the positive ones, in the main, being so "over-the-top" positive. This always gives me pause.
But I must say for the record that my experience was quite good. Being concerned, as I just stated, I called for Ms. Mae Kouza Gen. Manager for customer service, as she has responded several times on this web page in defense of solid signal. I did not get to speak to Ms. Kouza but I left her a voice message giving her my e-mail address my order number and my cell phone number. This attempt was made about noon on the 15th as my order status still said "processing". When I had not heard anything back from Ms. Kouza by the afternoon of the 15th I called customer service and talk to Ron.
Ron was very nice and said that he would try and expedite shipment. The shipment was picked up by FedEx at 5:16 PM on the 15th. And it arrived at my home as scheduled today the 18th of June. The package was properly wrapped, there was no difficulties with the product. And it worked as advertised.
All in all I would save my experience with this company was very good and I would order from them again.
And No, in case you're wondering, I do not work for solid signal and had never heard of them before. "

"FANTASTIC ! ! ! !, This is the best word to describe everything I received from Solid Signal. Ron did a GREAT job of selecting the BEST antenna, Pre amp and rotor system for me to use and the results were FANTASTIC. With my very old antenna set up I got about 3 stations, with the new Winegard HD 8200U antenna, Winegard Chromstar AP-8700 pre amp, and the Channel Master CM9521A rotator system when I ran my scan for NEW stations after installing the new antenna I got 15 channels all with GREAT signal strength. The rotar is a nice feature also as most of the stations in my area are located in about a 90 degree area of location from my house sometimes weather might make it to where a slight antenna twist with the rotator will continue the perfect reception I have gotten use to. This is a whole lot better than running outside and twisting the mast in the middle of a rain storm. All kidding aside I could not be MORE HAPPY with my new antenna set up and the service I got from Ron at solid signal. If you need an antenna call Ron and tell him Rick sent you and you will be very happy with the products and service and advise both Ron and Solid Signal can supply to you. I stressed my urgent need for this unit by Friday, May 7th since I planned on traveling north to install it at the cottage. She was extremely helpful and found one in the office and she arraigned for me to come to the Novi facility and pick up the product. "I was looking for a Winegard GS2200 antenna and a Winegard DS-2016 pipe mount.
Solid Signal and Summit Source had comparable prices, but Summit Source included 100 ft of coax cable with the antenna.
So I called Solid Signal and asked them if they'd do the same. Not only did Solid Signal make me a custom length of rg6 coax, they gave me expedited shipping.
Ordered on monday, received it on friday, all items as requested.

"Just wanted to say thanks for the great service, products and pricing. I finished installing my Channel Master CM9521A Complete Antenna Rotator System with Infra-Red Remote Control yesterday. I was amazed at how fast it turns the antenna compared to the old rotators from Channel Master. The remote is a nice touch and the receiver is small and unobtrusive with easy to set memories. I was very happy when I rescanned my digital TV and was able to more than double the channels received with my directional antenna. I am picking up channels that are more than 70 miles away as well as across Lake Ontario from Canada. Thanks for the great products that helped me eliminate my satellite or cable TV bill! "I ordered an antenna from this company and unfortunately I had to cancel the order because there was a few more complex details on how to set up the antenna off an old dish satelite setup that was using diplexers and a splitters than I first thought. This company was great in having the patience to answer all my questions and emails and they really took the time to help the customer out. When I work out those details about the particular configuration I have currently and how to alter that, I would not hesitate to order from them. They were really good about assisting the customer and very informative.They also were very understanding about canceling the order and took care of it right away for me. "I work for a company that is having to switch all of our uplinks, and downlinks to another satellite due to the satellite we are on reaching it's end of life. This is an extremely important project!
Tuesday April 6 2010 I placed 2 orders, One rj-11 crimper for my personal use, and another order on behalf of my company for a Birdog Plus. These orders were placed on separate credit cards.
The crimper arrived Thursday the 8th without any problems. Now the problems with the birdog plus begin. Friday the 9th I received a phone call stating that there was a problem with the credit card I used for the Birdog. We discovered that my company uses a different PO Box for the credit card mailing address. I was a bit upset that it had taken this long to inform me that there were any problems, but I was assured that it would ship that day.
I checked back on Tuesday the 13th to verify it's delivery date (They never sent any tracking information for either order). I found out that the unit still had not shipped. They claimed that the credit card problem caused the additional delay, and assured me that it would ship that day.
Wednesday the 14th I still did not receive any tracking information, so I called back, and spoke with Carol, found that it still had not shipped, and escalated to Carol's manager Shay. As a good will gesture, Shay refunded my shipping charges, and again I was assured that it would ship that day from another facility.
April 15th "A" Birdog finally arrived, but is was the wrong model!!
Monday the 19th (the day I HAVE to start using the meter after all of these delays) I received a phone call informing me that "I" need to either pay the the difference (Well over $200) or send the meter back, so they can ship the proper one.
Needless to say, I'm furious. I let them know that I can not be without the meter now! I don't have time for any other delays caused by Solid Signal! If they want to ship the meter I ordered now, that's fine, but I can not be left without a working meter because of these mistakes!
As of this review, This ordeal is still not over!
UPDATE:
I received a phone call from the company controller, Shay. She said that she is going to leave the Birdog Ultra with me without charging me for any cost difference.
I ended up talking to many people at SolidSignal, but Carol, and Shay where the ones that truly did their best to try to fix problems.
I didn't need or have use for the added functionality of the birdog ultra, But I will accept the unit, and be glad this is over."
